Rapunzel POV
Eugene was rowing out into the water making it look easy, I had offered to help plenty of times, but he refused to let me. We were finally to the "perfect spot," as Eugene put it. The view was amazing! You could see everything, from the fjord to the tippy top of the castles highest tower.
"Eugene! It's amazing!" I almost screamed.
"I'm glad you think so, it won't be much longer until the first lanterns go up into the sky," he said.
I smiled and looked up at the sky. A small light flickered by one of the castle towers. I squinted to get a better look, this was it, my dream was finally coming true. I'm so scared. What will I do next? What will be my new dream? What if it is not what I expect? All of these questions without answers. The sky was dark, and then there was light.
