You maintained a decent speed throughout the race but ended up in third place. You're sat down, back leaning against Shizimiyu's as the two of you struggle to catch your breaths.

"Why are you tired? You practically jogged!" You glance over at Shizimiyu, who fell to the side.

"I don't do running sports! I went as fast as I could go," she said with an exasperated sigh. Farina ran up to you and leaned down to hug you.

"Nice job (y/n), Shi!" Farina helped the two of you up. She didn't participate in the race, maybe because of the play?

"Thanks. Where's Akaashi?" You look around, letting go of her hand. She lets out a small giggle.

"Over there." She pointed behind you. His skin was glistening, you couldn't help but stare. And also feel jealous you don't sparkle like he does when you sweat. He made his way over to you.

"Nice job," he congratulated you.

"You two."  You glanced over and wiped your forehead. Farina Was talking to Shizimiyu about her play. The two girls weren't close, no not at all. They used to fight with each other all the time back in middle school. Nothing really bad went down with them, they were just always competing with each other.

"Are they doing fireworks? No one telling me anything." Farina crosses her arms. You respond with a shrug.

"I think they were doing a bonfire."

"How Lame," Khloe said as she stepped between Farina and Shizimiyu. Her hair was all over the place. Flyaways and Baby hair clung to the sides of her face. She was flushed in the cheeks.

You look around while the group talks amongst themselves. Honestly, you'd much rather be inside than have to stay another minute outside with everyone else. The air feels as if it's made up of a million people's breath, despite the fact your all outside. The sun almost fully set now, so the air should be cooler than it was when you were running.

"Wait (y/n), give me your hand." Farina holds her hand out. You raise your brow while resting your hand in hers,  she looks at your hand closely then over at something else, Akaashi.

"Is something wrong?" He tilted his head. Farina grinned at you. It was her usual teasing grin. She leaned over to whisper to Shizimiyu and Khloe. You grumbled and tapped your foot against the ground. Farina giggled.

"I like your matching bracelets." She wiggled her fingers. Shizimiyu was dragged off by Khloe because she saw some food tent.

"It's not like that Farina!" You flick her forehead. She laughs.

"Oh please I'm just teasing, but I suppose this means I should leave the two of you alone now?"

"Farina I swear." You rub your temple, your face flushed from embarrassment.

"Okay okay, I'll stop now. I wonder if they'll have s'mores tonight."

"I doubt it." Akaashi chimed in.

"Don't shoot me down like that." Farina crossed her arms over her chest.

The three of you looked over to where large logs were set up in a circle, sectioned off by an odd fence. Yep, bonfire.

"I just remembered, I've gotta go help my class take the decorations down."

"Wait cleanup is tomorrow?" You try to grab Farina as she's practically prancing off.

"My class wanted to get started today, we have a lot to take down." She quickly hugged you before running off to catch up with someone she recognized from her class. You and Akaashi were alone yet Again.
