Gunshots fly past my head, and my comrades fall to their knees, begging for help. The nazis have us pinned down just outside the city of Berlin. There are not many of us left, and I don't know how long we can hold out suddenly. I hear a voice Crack over the radio and cut in and out.
"Private Sanchez, fix this damn radio. I can't hear the guy on the other end. " I snapped as mortar shells whizzed past our heads.
"Yes, sir," he said
"Sanchez, how long on the radio?" I yelled
"I fixed it, sir, but a guy is asking for you," he said nervously
"I heard you boys could use some help. Could some help down there," he said
" Yes, sir, I certainly can. I need air support as soon as possible, " I said
"You got it, sir, but you better stand clear. we need the ground clear for air support," he said as the radio cut out
So I told my men to fall back to the
Broken factory nearby to take cover."I need everyone to fall back to the factory air supports coming to bomb this area," I said
While everyone rushed to get to cover, I saw the planes above bomb the fields, and the sight to behold was glorious
