Chapter 4- A new beginning

Hello i am writing a new part again! (: this part will be the continuation of what ciel thoughts are lets find out what happen :D

I and Lord Edward are still talking about the ideas on making toys from food and other stuff. While waiting for Sebastian to make rosemary tea for us. After 5 minutes, Sebastian came in with the tea pot and two cups with rose pattern on it which is made by Madam Maria-estien. (Personally my favourite pair of cups)

Sebastian pours the tea into the cups before serving us as usual…. Then I saw that Sebastian is not pouring the tea into the cups instead, he is pouring it into the tray that the cups are on!!! He is not looking at the tea that is pouring instead he is looking at the stupid rose bush at the garden which can be seen through the windows of my room.

“Sebastian! Look at what you are doing!” I shouted

“Oh My! I am very sorry again for my carelessness ….”He said in a soft voice as he bow apologetic towards me and Lord Edward.

What is wrong with Sebastian today? He is such a perfectionist in everything he does. But today, he is late and distracted …. Is he sick today? Do demons even fall sick? About that I am not very sure …

“Sebastian, are you not feeling very well today?” I asked.

Sebastian look shock after I asked him…I guess he must be shock I am concern about him since I rarely show my concern to him. Well… you may wonder why I am so concern about him...That’s because Sebastian always take care of everything in the house at the same time taking good care of me. Since the death of my parents no one has ever take such care of me beside Sebastian (even though he is doing these for my soul, it is still very difficult to do all these tasks just for my soul…)

Sebastian then smile sweetly, putting one of his hands on his chest while bowing again” I am fine my lord, thank you for your concern.” He said. He then wipes the tea that is on the tray and pours the tea properly in the cups and serves it to me and Lord Edward.

Sebastian excused himself and left the room.

After the long talk, I and Lord Edward shake our hands and we sign our partnership contract. While this is kind of the last time I’ll be seeing him, he was such a wonderful person to talk to …. As I sent him to his carriage, Mey-Rin was walking up and down the pathway near Lord Edward carriage.

“What are you doing walking around here, Mey-Rin?” I asked.

“Umm...I...Umm...” Mey-Rin stuttered.

Suddenly Lord Edward hold Mey-Rin wrist and run towards the garden side of my mansion… What just happen?!? Why is Lord Edward pulling Mey-Rin to somewhere? What is he going to do to Mey-Rin? I was going to chase after them when Sebastian stop me from running.

“Sebastian!?! Why are you stopping me?”

“Let them be alone...” said Sebastian in a very gentle voice

His eyes look towards the direction where both of them run and he smile gently... I never saw that kind of look on him before …he look kind and gentle…

“My Lord dinner is ready; please go inside to eat your meal.” He suddenly turns to me and said in a mannered tone.

“Okay...”

After dinner, for the rest of the time I keep thinking what happen to Mey-Rin and Lord Edward, why is Sebastian distracted today? Why both Mey-Rin and Sebastian cheeks is a pink today? Why is Sebastian late..? Thinking of these makes me have a headache why is the world so complicated…

I don’t know since when Sebastian appear from…but I almost had a heart attack when I saw him suddenly in front of me.

“My lord, what are you thinking? You keep frowning and you didn’t notice me in front of you all the time.”

Should I ask him why he is late and why are his cheeks pink today? But I am not sure if he tells me the truth…

“Sebastian, why are you late today and why when you cam back your cheeks are pink in colour?” “And why are you so distracted today?” I asked.

Sebastian seems to be suddenly recalling something and then his cheeks are pink again…

“My Lord… can I ask you a question?”

“You may ask me a question.”

“What is it like to like someone…?” Sebastian then remains silence..

Does Sebastian like somebody? I wonder who it is…
