Chapter 4

Gregs's POV

  

    I plop down next my beta and his mate feeling slightly depressed that i have still not found my mate at 26 I've been searching every where and have had no luck. I watch all the mates interact around me finally decided to just go home i get up from the couch and exit the pack house to the the separate house that i built so i could have a house for my potential family away from the pack. 

    I enter my house and sit in front of my computer to check a dating site i recently joined hoping to find my mate but knowing its not likely. I look through the new users look at picture after picture until my eyes scan over the most beautiful boy i have ever seen. He had large hazel doe like eyes. I felt my wolf stir inside getting really agitated and i ask him whats wrong and he replies "Mate! must have mate!"  I stare back at the boy who is my mate and study him more clicking on his profile and trying to find out as much as i can from his limited info and finally i and him a simple message so i don't come one to strong. 

      Hey the name is Greg. I attach a photo and hit send nervously waiting for a reply. He replies and i instantly open the message his message read a simple Hi but it still made me happy talking to my adorable mate i start to tell him random and basic facts about myself so that he can start getting to know me. I reread my message and finally hit send and went off to bed. I strip down to my boxers and crawl into bed suddenly feeling exhausted y cat instantly jumps up and curls up on the pillow next to me never have i seen a cat so in love with wolves. I close my eyes and start to drift off into a peaceful sleep.

      Over the last couple of days I've been messaging with my lovely none stop and finally made a date with him this Wednesday. Im slightly worried about being able to keep my wolf in check and stopping him from claiming our mate as soon as we lay eyes on him. Wednesday came pain sacking slow as i was eager to meet my mate i dress in a pear of jeans and a tight t-shirt to show off my muscles. I arrive at the coffee shop 20 minutes early to wake for Jimmy I smell him before i see him and my wolf starts to get excited that our mate was close i instantly look up to see my gorgeous mate walking up to me. I notice him checking me out and when i look up catching him doing him him checks turn bright red. I had a hard time keep in my seat and not just ravishing him right there. I smirk at his embarrassment and his checks turn and even brighter red. He stutters out the shyest hi ever. I chuckle and reply with a hello and start walking with him to the counter so we can get our coffee.

          I order my coffee and lean over and asks Jimmy what he wants. I watch while he orders his coffee and we leave the coffee shop to head to find a quite place at the park so i can get to know my mate better. We where having a nice conversation when i heard someone call out jimmy's name. My mate instantly froze next to me. I wrapped a protective arm around jimmy not trusting this man who has frightened my mate so much. I feel jimmy relax in my arms making me swell with happiness.  I leaned down and whispered in his ear "do you want to leave?" He was about to answer but the man ha already reached us. He goes to grab jimmy from my arms i don't allow him to pull him away suddenly the man harshly yells "let him go me and him need to talk." I hold back a growl and continue to hold my mate in my arms.

          The man roughly pulls him from my arms making him wince and i growled at him for hurting my mate. The man takes a swing at me and hits and unsuspecting jimmy in the face and i finally lose it and knocks the man out want to do more but my wolf reminds me that Jimmy is hurt. I turn and gently pick Jimmy up and walk him back to my car and take him to the pack house so that the pack doctor can check him out. Once i bring Jimmy in i lay him on the bed and tuck him in. I decide to take a shower while he sleeps hoping he wakes up so so i know if he is okay or not.

   I know this chapter is short but Wattpad for some reason hasn't been saving my drafts so i had to rewrite the whole thing but i wanted to make sure i updated so here it is.
