Error had just returned from destroying another AU. He sat in the anti- void, sniffling. He had to listen to their cries, screams. begs for mercy...

He felt awful. A lone tear slid down his cheek. Why did Ink do this to him? What's the point of creating the same AU's and making all these copies?

Doesn't he know they're all going to die? The glitch sat there, now crying quietly with the occasional hiccup or sniffle. He didn't want to destroy. All the children he had to kill...

He didn't even want to think about it.

Error curled up into a ball, burying his face in his arms. He just wanted to be peaceful and happy, so why was Ink telling the multiverse his only goal was the destruction of everything?

Error heard a portal open in front of him, and he lifted his head to look up at who it was, tears still dripping from his eyesockets.

It was Nightmare, coming to check up on Error after feeling his intense sadness.

"Ah, I see. So it's one of these days."

Nightmare mumbled, walking in front of the crying glitch.

Nightmare picked Error up by the waist with a tendril, carrying him back through the portal. They ended up in Nightmare's room. Nightmare put the sniffling glitch down on the bed.

"Stay there, I'll be right back."

And so Error did. He was still crying though. He couldn't seem to get the screams of the innocent out of his head.

Nightmare came back a minute later, carrying bars of chocolate, a fluffy blanket, a shit ton of pillows, a novel and a joke book.

Errormare oneshot #5: I'm Here For You/Cheesy Jokes

Nightmare sat next to Error. He first draped the blanket over Error's shoulders, gave him the chocolate bars and put a pillow behind Error's back. Then, he put the pillows on top of them both, and they both leaned against the headboard with pillows for their heads.

Nightmare pulled Error closer, so the glitch's head rested on Nightmare's shoulder. Nightmare wiped away Error's tears.

"So, you had a rough day huh? Wanna talk about it?"

"yOu kNow, tHe uSuAl. dEstRoyIng... hAhAh..."

Error answered, snuggling into Nightmare for comfort. Nightmare got the message, holding Error closer and wrapping an arm around Error's shoulders, and stroking the glitch's skull with a tentacle.

Error felt better already. He opened his chocolate bar, and munched on the sweet milk chocolate bar.

"mMmm... tHankS nIgHty..."

"Heheh... you're welcome."

Nightmare read some of the novel to Error, who was now feeling content. When Nightmare finished the book, he moved onto the joke book and told Error some cheesy jokes.

"What do you call a pig that does karate? A pork chop."

"pFfft- tHat wAs sO cOrnY, hAhA!"

Error laughed, causing Nightmare to grin. Ah, there was his smiley glitch.

The two laughed at the jokes, and they eventually finished the joke book too. So, they settled for cuddling in a comfortable silence. Well, until Nightmare decided to say something to Error.

"Hey Error... you know that you're never alone, right? I'm here for you."

Error looked up at Nightmare with a blissful smile.

"tHanks nIghT... i'M heRe fOr yOu tOo!"

Then, Nightmare's rowdy children bust into the room, jumping on the two black skeletons and curling up to them.

"...aNd sO aRe thEy."

The two giggled, and stroked the skulls of the four other skeletons. However, Nightmare looked unimpressed as the one named Horror tried to eat his tentacle. So, he fished out an unfinished sandwich from his pocket and tossed it to Horror, who scarfed it down in one second.

Cross sniffed the scent of chocolate, and the smell was coming from Error, so he curled up on Error's lap and stayed there.

They all slept there, all happy to have each other.
