It was Thanksgiving alas. Nightmare, and his children- I mean teammates spent a good three hours setting their table, decorating, placing games in the living room, lighting candles and pre-cooking their dinner.

Nightmare, however, felt like something, or someone very important was missing.

He shot up from his seat on the couch, startling his teammates who were fooling around with the games.

"AH- WE FORGOT TO INVITE ERROR-!"

Nightmare whipped out his phone, dialing Error's number. Within moments Nightmare's call was accepted, and he was telling Error to get ready, as he would be picking him up in less than a minute.

Nightmare waited a few seconds, tapping his foot and pacing.

Cross and Killer smirked. They had taken notice of Nightmare's feelings, and actions around the glitch.

Horror and Dust fist-bumped. Soon, their boss would tell Error of his feelings.

No doubt about it, Nightmare was in love with Error. He could only hope Error felt the same way. However, something told Nightmare deep down inside, that he wouldn't be disappointed; that things would end well, one way or another.

Thirty seconds passed. It felt like eternity to our goopy king, though.

Nightmare pushed open a portal, entering Error's anti- void. There stood Error next to his beanbag, wearing a beautiful crimson sweater with holes in the shoulders, exposing his cherry red bones, and black ripped jeans that hugged his curves, and spread out like bells at the ankles.

Nightmare blushed a bright cyan, and Error snorted upon seeing his reaction.

"yOu oKay tHere, nIghT?"

He asked in his glitchy, shifting voice. Nightmare nodded, composing himself. He cleared his "throat", reaching out his hand for Error to take.

"Cmon, everyone's waiting for you!"

Error took Nightmare's hand, as Nightmare gently pulled him into the portal he left. Error smiled softly, a warm feeling blooming inside him. It was thanks to Nightmare he could bare physical contact now. Despite being a skeleton, Nightmare's hand was pleasantly warm, and very soft at the touch.

Both stepped through, and walked out of the portal into the living room, hands still interlocked with one another.

Everyone greeted Error, happy to see him. He was like a mother to everyone; just as Nightmare was like a father to them.

Cross saw Error and Nightmare's hands, trying to suppress a grin. He failed, so he coughed, and skittered into the kitchen yelling something along the lines of "I'M GONNA CHECK ON THE FOOD-"

Of course, whenever food is mentioned Horror has to be there, so he chased Cross into the kitchen, drooling.

Nightmare facepalmed at his gang's silly behaviour, and Error giggled. This truly felt like home to Error. He finally felt like he belonged.

"So... wanna play chess with me...?"

Nightmare asked after a few moments of silence that quickly grew awkward. Error nodded, smiling at the guardian of negativity.

Nightmare led Error over to a set- up chessboard, and the two had started to play. Then... they got slightly... sidetracked.
