As I close my eyes, counting to 100 again I visualize it. I am in my other bed with the velvet, red comforter. Staring at the brick wall that curves to make the tower my bed rests in. The temperature drops yet there is a warmth hidden in the cold, dry air. I feel my body come to and I am in the Gryffindor common room. I wait a minute before doing anything to make sure I don't lose concentration out of excitement. The same rush of excitement every time I get to my desired reality. My home. I sit up and wait for a couple of the others to wake up and start getting ready for the day. "Ahh the weekend" I think to myself. I put on my black skirt, tuck in a white button down, and roll up my sleeves so just my forearms are exposed to the clean, pure air. I wear my dark red and yellow tie just because of the sheer joy it brings me to be able to wear it. I put on my dark red ankle socks and black Doc Marten boots. I brush my black and silver split-dyed hair that barely touches my shoulders. I decide to do half-up half-down space buns today. Lastly I put on some black lipstick and eyeliner. "Ready" I say out loud, admiring myself in the mirror. "Come on Jenna the boys are probably waiting for us." A familiar voice that is usually the first one I hear in the morning. I look towards the doorway of the staircase that leads to the common room and Hermione is standing with her usual stack of books, ready for breakfast. "It's barely the middle of year four, how many books could you possibly need to read?" I ask sarcastically. " Don't forget some of us actually enjoy reading." She rolls her eyes but can't help smiling at my usual wise-ass personality.

Once in the Great Hall, we find our way over to our usual breakfast spot. "Morning Jen!" George says in his usual uppity tone. "Call me Jen one more time and you won't be able to talk." I wink at him. "Mornin' Jenny!" Fred knows I hate this name too. I roll my eyes and smile. "Sup Hufflepuff?" I say to Cedric, leaning in for a kiss. "Good morning kid." I love his low, constant but upbeat voice. I sit next to him. "I'm only 12 inches shorter than you." I give him a sideways glance. I know he is 6'1" and I am 5'1". It's a pretty big difference. I look over and I see Ron and Harry walking towards us. I overhear Ron, "But Harry, lets say we were to just sectum sempra Draco-" Harry cut him off, "Ron, come on now. He already proved that it wasn't him who sent those Slytherin goons after us." They had gotten into a fight with a couple of Slytherins a few days ago and Ron still thinks its connected with Draco somehow. "There they are. The two pretty best friends." I tease them as they sit down. Ron mutters a disappointed "Morninngg" and Harry just smiles. " You really have it out for Malfoy, don't you?" I asked Ron. "I'm telling you...he told those idiots...to go after us." He mumbled through a large bite of banana bread. "You really have to get to know him Ronny. He really is a good friend. He just doesn't trust easily." "I'd rather starve for a day. And stop calling me that would ya." "Ok...Ronny." He takes another bite of his banana bread. "Anyyywayy....What do you guys wanna do today? None of us have any tests coming up, no homework and its Saturday." I ask them, trying to hold in my unnecessary amount of excitement. "I thought we could have a party for our win last week." said Fred. "Yea. Remember we had to cancel it because everyone wanted to study for that potions test with Snape?" George chimed in. I did remember that game. I had caught the Golden Snitch for the first time. I can play any Quidditch position but I do love seeker. "Ohh good idea" I answer.
