Avu's POV
When I bring her in my room Jannat spread on my bed as if she owned it.

A bag of potato chips and a coke was next to her. She must've heard me open the door because she glanced up, with a large smile on her face when she saw me. It wasn't the usual "Hey, what's up?" kind of grin.
It was more of a "I have a plan that will most likely get us in trouble" that kind
of smile.

Avneet let's just out from place

"Oh my god, I absolutely cannot believe I forgot! I have to go...get groceries for
my mom. Sorry we couldn't talk, bye!"
My excuse shot out as I turned away,
getting ready to bump on the door and my head owwww!!!!! My plan of ditching my own house immediately failed when she grabbed my arm, dragged me back inside, and forced me to sit onthe bed.

"She did grocery shopping yesterday"

Uh, I actually have to give in some
books to the library too. Their due today
so I absolutely have to go now. I will
be right back." I jumped off my bed."

You returned them today during lunch time I guess."

"I have to buy school stuff. I'm all out of
pens."

"What happened to the excessive amount of pens you bought just three days ago?"

Fuck off girl how you know each thingggggg

"Alright, fine. What do you want?" I
sighed in annoyance, giving up. Let's face it, she knows everything, and she won't hesitate to prove it whenever she has an idea that involves dragging me out of my comfort zone.
She flashed me a mischievous smile,
walking towards the cupboard. After
ruffling my whole cupboard for a few minutes, she pulled out a box. Not just any box, the box.
The kind of box that is stuffed with useless things that I never actually
use.

"What's on your mind, Jannat?" I curiously ask.

"We are going to prank your Jai."

She smiled, placing the box down on the bed

"Remember when he dyed my hair
green?" I nod my head, a light laugh
escaping my lips at the mental image. I
remember that day so clearly.

"Yeah, but that was a month ago." I say as she mischievously smile again.

"Ah yes, my sweet innocent best friend.
I silently waited to strike at the most
unexpected time!" I opened my mouth
to protest, only to be immediately
interrupted.

"Yay or nay?" She held my hand out and
I look at it suspiciously for a solid five
minutes before saying no.

"Nay."

"Why the fuck not?!"

"Don't curse."

"Not before you tell me why the fuck you won't fucking help me!"

Damn, my poor ears

"He pranked you, not me. If I get involved in your scheme, then he'll build a stupidly elaborate revenge scheme!" I say, emphasizing 'revenge' to prove my point.

You're going to ditch me just because
you're fucking selfish?!" She said.

And here her emotional blackmail starts.

"Different wording, but yeah."I snatch
my shirt that I stole from Jai and denim booty shorts. I walk across my room to the bathroom to change.

"Remember that Friday when I wanted us to go to that party hosted by Ashnoor, but instead we went to watch your favorite romantic movie?" I groan in frustration, walking out of the bathroom after changing.

And that day I gota date with .......... but I canceled because you were feeling sick and wanted us to have a
Netflix marathon?"

"And the day when-"

Alright, fine! Stop it! What do you want
me to do?" I finally asked, throwing my
hands in the air.

"Sit still and be a party of my prank." She says.

I cursed under my breath as I heard his
footsteps coming closer. I was hiding
in my closet, behind the messy clothes and silently praying that he won't find me.

You must be thinking why I am hiding myself beacuse jannat has done her mischievous and fucking prank on Jai, after knowing the fact that he hates prank and all. Jai was in hurry because he has to go to his school for submitting the project which he was working for since last 2 days, after completing it he had kept safely in his cupboard but Jannat who always do mischievous and stupid things she had placed a jar filled with water above his closet and when he opened it, he was full wet including his project which was only little wet though, but his anger was on peek!

He has already found Jannat and she is the one now who is completely drenched in ice cold water from head to toe and shivering like crazy.

"You can't hide from me, Avneet!" Jai
voice roared and I flinched at the thought of him finding me.

Long story short, Jannat posted his photo holding a pink teddy bear when he was sixteen.

Why was I in trouble? You all must be
thinking

Well, I just told her where he has hidden
his photo album.

I sighed in relief when I heard the sound
of footsteps going far. I peeked from the
small hole and smiled crazily when I found that he isn't here. I tip toed towards my door and locked it.

It was five in the evening and I was tired with a high dose of hunger. I needed food, but I didn't want to get drenched in ice cold water.

Life's tough, people.

I waited for one more hour- okay, fine.
Five more minutes, but then I couldn't
hold my hunger anymore, so I decided to cross my fingers, pray to god, be brave and make my way towards kitchen.
I opened the door and looked left and
right, once I saw no one at the sight, I
rushed towards the kitchen, quickly made myself two sandwiches and hurried my steps towards the room and locked it quickly.

"Phew." I breathed in relief and sat on the bed munching my sandwich.

I was on my last bite of the sandwich
when I heard a tap on my window.

Who the hell is there now????
