Ch 2 : An uninvited guest

The atmosphere around me seemed mist and different than the usual serene surroundings I was used to..

I heard a howl coming from faraway....Or maybe it was the forboding fears playing with my mind.

Pain was aching from every part of my body , especially my upper back .

I slowly opened my eyes , taking in the horrendous reality..

Wherever I looked , it was pitch black ..Never knew this shade of black even existed in real...
The only light was coming from the stars in the sky..

The winds whispering somewhat sweet things in the trees around me and leaves were rustling while the owl was hooting in the distance , the only being wake beside me.

I struggled to sit .

'Argh..my back is pain too much'

I touched my wings to see if anything is wrong..

"Ah shibal"
'My right wing oh no no '...Tears brimmed in my eyes ..

'My right wing is broken ! What am i supposed to do now? How am i supposed to get out of here ? How am i supposed to get back ?'

At this time , tears were flowing down my cheeks , regret filling my entire being ..
'I should've listened to everyone..'
I need to go back ..How am i going to get back..

I took some deep breaths trying to calm myself...
'But for now I need to hide from the devigals, I can't let them find me...I need to find somewhere to hide.'

I jumped up to fly but tripped on the ground

'My wings are damaged..forgot that..'

I need to walk.

'But where am i supposed to go? '

Without a destiny..I just walked and walked .

Not knowing that not just this step but every step I ever took , every path I ever chose , was leading me to where I'm supposed to be...

All of this was already decided, I just didn't know..I still don't know

After walking for what seemed like hours..i came near a..

"A house?"

I could see a wooden two floored house ...the type of houses rich people go to for vacations .

"In the middle of a forest ..?"

It was surrounded by forest from 3 of its side and there was a small lake on the other side..
Maybe it looked good in the day but for now..the place looked quite spooky in the dark.

"From all the stories I read of the human world , these type of homes are haunted by ghosts "

But like that's that's the only way i can hide from devigals..and believe me, ghosts are much better than those piece of shi-

So yup I decided to go in ahaha.
.... i really hope it isn't haunted.

The front door was locked so I jumped in from the kitchen window..

' Ahh that delicious smell '

I saw a gigantic box...its a fridge Icthink..I don't know for sure as we have different looking fridges.

' I opened and yup it had a lot of food '
