Life was going as usual for the toddler Gu Changying. In the morning her dad would get her ready for the daycare centre.

He was a gentle and a loving father. It's been almost 2 years since he divorced his wife because she was diagnosed with mental problems.

He didn't want to but he had to made the painful decision to save both his ex-wife and his daughter.

Even after all this years, he never tried to find a wife again. He still goes to visit her once a week in the health centre, bringing Changying with him.

He too, was traumatized by the event. He put all his attention solely into raising his daughter, Changying.

To him, raising Changying was so easy. She rarely cries, or being diffficult. Most of the time she acts like an adult. Which at times baffled him. He didn't find her antics annoying so he didn't pursue the matter.

It was 7 am in the morning. He was busy in the kitchen, preparing breakfast for himself and Changying.

He can see Changying, who are already bathed and ready for the daycare walks to the living room, picked up the tv remote and turn on the tv. She then climb on to the couch and sit there.

Unmoved, she watches the news as if she could understand what it was about.

He glances at the tv, it was the stock report.

"..." He was speechless. He finds it weird but at the same time, he had no way to proof she could actually understand what it was about.

So he dismissed the nagging feelings in his heart.

Besides, she is his only daughter.

He goes to the living room and picked her up. With a smile on his face he kissed her cheeks and said "Time for breakfast princess"

Changying didn't smile. She just nods her head and let her father sat her on the highchair.

"Ugh. This girl with facial paralysis is going to give us problems." Said Dr.Anna in their shared space.

"It's her turn to go out. We can't be too hard on her. Besides, we can't change people. It was her destiny to be like that set from the very moment she was born" said Mei Yue.

"It's okay. No one would realize we had like 5 souls sharing a body." Mulan added a comment.

"But it was a vast contrast between me and her... I wonder if the teacher saw something amiss with us yet..." Said Yufei.

"You guys don't have to worry so much. It was normal for a baby to not smile once in a while. Once in the school Yufei should go out. The teachers loved her so much." Watergirl inner thoughts reverberates in the shared space.

She can hear their conversations and she only need to think of what to say for the others to heard her.

This way they always could discuss over matters before they took actions.

While the 5 girls are having their conversations, Watergirl finished her breakfast and said to her dad

"Thank you dad."

Her words made him smile. He picked her up and kissed her cheeks again.

"My princess is so sensible. What good have I done in my previous life to be blessed with a daughter like you" he said. His eyes filled with mirth.

"Mmmm... I love this feeling of being loved by our parents... I missed mine..." Yufei said

"He is our dad... He had done a great job raising us this past couple years..." Dr. Anna said.

While the five of them was having their small talk inside their shared space, Shui was being carried to the car.

Their father works at a small company as a clerk. His job pays him enough to raise a small family but it leaves no room for extra.

He still needs to pay for his ex-wife's medical fees.

Fortunately, he was good at managing his finance, other than the house, he did not have any other debt on his name.

In less than 30 minutes, they arrived at the nursery, Yufei came out.

She hugged their dad with a wide smile that could melt any adult's heart.

Seeing they had arrived, the teacher came to welcome Changying.

"Good morning Changying. Ready for some fun today?" She greeted with a big smile.

She really liked Gu Changying. She was the only toddler who was so sensible she seemed like older than her age. Thus, all the teachers like her.

"I am ready, miss Lanny". Yu fei replied happily.

They had agreed to let Yu Fei out on nursery days. Just too make sure the teacher's did not realize their split personality.

Their dad did not stay long, he left after he makes sure the teachers took her to her nursery room.

The nursery was divided into a few rooms, all the 2 -3 years old was placed in a same room.there was only 7 kids in the room.

Yu fei loved kids. So she blends in and play with them just fine. She never fights for toys with the other kids. She acted more like a mature kid. As if she was the eldest and most sensible one.

That evening... They saw how flustered the caretakers was.

They kept glancing at Gu Changying. But they didn't say anything to her.

But just because they didn't talk to her, doesn't mean they won't know what is happening...

"What to do? She is so small. Just 2 years old!" Miss Lanny's voice was heard from the corridor.

"She didn't have any relatives either. Her biological mom was hospitalised, and the family from that side did not want to have anything to do with her kids." The Head caretaker said

"Then, what would happen to her now?"

"Social services worker would come and fetch her. She would have to stay in the orphanage. If no one from the family is willing to take custody of her, she would have to stay there. Perhaps some good family would want to adopt her"

From the conversations... They realised... Their dad is gone... And they were orphaned...
