NASH'S POV

We all sat in silence for a really long time after Kian and JC put Taylor's body in the basement. Cameron had gone upstairs and had not returned for a while.

"Ill go talk to him," Sarah sat up and walked upstairs to try and talk with her husband. I looked around the room at everyones stone faces. I looked at Brooklyn, she was sitting resting her chin on her fists, thinking. Then she spoke up,

"C'mon guys we cant sit like this forever." I don't know what happened to me after that, but I stood up and began to yell.

"No! okay we were all fine before you got here! Now our friend is dead and his replacement is some useless girl and her baby brother! We should have left you two!" Her mouth left open not knowing how to respond.

I instantly regretted everything I said when I saw the look on Bakes face. His eyes filling with tears. I knew I could say sorry because it wouldn't do much so I walked down the hall and slammed a door behind me as I went into one of the guest rooms.

BROOKLYNS POV

I sat there taking it all in not sure what to do. Everyone in the room looked over at me and Jake in awkward silence.

"Hey Jake its okay hes just an ass sometimes. Lets go see if we can find a board game or something okay?" Ricky came over and patted him on the back before they left to find a game.

I was headed io to the bathroom when I passed Sarah in the hallway.

"Hey hows Cameron doing?" I asked.

"Not very good, he wants to have a meeting with everyone in an hour."

I went outside to get some air. In the distance I could only see smog hanging low in the sky from the fires in the city, but no sign of life. I sat there for what seemed like only a few minutes when Kians voice inturrupted my thoughts.

"Alex, Cameron wants us inside."

"okay I will be right there."

After he left I enjoyed five more minutes in the sun until seeing a woman crawl out of the bushes like a rabid animal, yelling at me.

I quickly ran inside and locked the door.
