"You'd sit there for hours at the edge of my bed just staring at the walls or reading me your favorite poetry and once in a while you'd look over at me and tell me that I was magnificent and I thought that was the best compliment I've ever gotten and that was the moment I knew I was truly addicted to you and you had eyes as dark as black coffee but if I looked close enough they'd look like the night sky and i thought it was ironic because I was addicted to coffee and looking up at the stars and your lips so bittersweet reminded me of the harsh touch of a bottle to my lips that I was once so addicted to. I imagined that the whole galaxy was trapped inside your body and that's why you were so beautiful. You used to tell me that all of the poetry in the world couldn't save us and I believed you until I started writing some of my own."
