Turtles in Quarantine

"We WILL stop this virus"

Leonardo sat in the dojo, he calmly exhaled and inhaled. Keeping his mind calm and still, he blinked his blue iris's open, he just felt something was missing. Leonardo got up gazing at the picture of his father and him as a tot. (This takes place after MS death) Leo sighed, as a warm tear fell from his eye. Donnatello sat in his lab chair, what could he create! I mean it was 2020 boring stuff was going on...or so the turtles thought. Raphael sat in his bean bag chair snoring softly as Chompy sat on his stomach admiring the lightning bolt crack in his shell. Mikey was, well what was he doing? Mikey was on his bed, "Man, Im so bored.." Mikey sighed gazing at his comic book. Mikey was bored, I had never heard such a thing! 

"Guys! GUYS! Turn the news on NOW!" Donnie screamed. Raph screamed being woken up from his mostly adored slumber. Leonardo came running out of the dojo, Raphael snatched the remote turning it to 'Groody to the Max' Mikey came out of his room, "What's the big idea?" Mikey asked. 'On this week from Groody to the max, it seems covid-19 gets worse as more people are being infected by this virus!' Groody said.

"Covid-19??"  Mikey questioned rubbing the back of his neck. "Uh, Donnie what is that?" Mikey asked. "Numbskull! It-it there is this virus! A-and it is extremely deadly!!! And it's spreading worldwidewhatdowedo!" Donnie screamed. "..Donnie..calm down we can save people right?" Leo asked. "Not quiet! We have to stay six feet apart a-and if you go out you public you have to wear masks! The symptoms are...are..(Donnie explains I forget the symptoms.. lol)" Donnie says covering his face. "..em- riiiight..look Donnie calm down we just stay down ere' ?"Raph said. "Raph that's the point we could have it right now but not even know!" Donnie yelled at his younger sibling.

Donnie was germaphobic, "Guys! We need to completely clean the lair!" Donnie yelled handing wipes and was already starting to clean his lab. "Donnie.." Leo started. "mm.." Donnie whined. "Donnie," Leo said more sternly. Donnie didn't listen he kept cleaning, "DONNIE!" Leo screamed making Donnie wince. "Donnie, I know you're trying to be safe but let's face it we have not been on the surface I..don't think at least, let me ask the others," Leo said as he walked out. "Hey Raph, Mike...have any of you guys been to the surface?" Leonardo asked hoping the answer would be 'no'. "Yeah" Raph answered. "No," Mikey said. "Raph! When?!" Leo lechered.  "Uhm..I think last night?" Raph said rubbing his head. "I went to see Mona Lisa," Leo stared at him in shock. Leo grabbed Raph by his mask tails dragging him into Donnie's lab.

"Donnie, now I see why you worry!" Leo said. Donnie faced Raph, "Okay Raph have you had any cough-" Donnie was interrupted by Raph coughing. Donnie squealed, "Raph! stay in you're room NOW! AND STAY THERE FOR 14 DAYS!" Donnie breathed out moving away from Raph. "Don, I coughed once.." Raph snorted. "Yeah, then that cough with make another and-" Donnie was interpreted again by Raph sneezing and sniffling. Donnie handed Leo a mask, Leo placed it on his mouth walking away from Raph. "Guys- cmon.." Raph mumbled wiping his nose. Mikey walked in, "Hey dudes why are you all...wearing masks?" Mikey questioned rubbing his head. "Because Raph has the virus!" Donnie screamed close to tears. "Uhm...wait what?" Mikey was still very confused. Leo handed him a mask, "Mikey, Raph has covid-19 at least that is what Donnie says, so going forward we don't eat nor drink after him we always wash our hands and, do you get the idea now?" Leo asked handing Mikey a mask. "oh..okay.." Mikey placed the mask on.

Raph sighed walking out of the lab, did he really have the coronavirus... or was his brothers just being paranoid. Raphael shivered to the core just thinking about it he scooped up chompy, ".Hey boy..let's go sleep I'm tired.." Raph grumbled walking to his room and slamming the door behind him. "So does he really have the virus?" Mikey asked. Donnie nodded rapidly while Leo facepalmed. "We are not sure, he has symptoms..so it is possible," Leo answered. Mikey winced, "C-could Raphie die?!" Mikey asked. "Well, out of all of us he has the weakest immune system, remember as a kid he always got sick.." Donnie said with a small sigh. "So he could?!" Mikey asked fear in his baby blue eyes. Leo rested his hand on Mikey's shoulder, "Raph is a strong turtle he will survive.." Leo said with a small grin. Mikey smiled hugging Leo, Raphael groaned feeling something come up his throat he gagged throwing up onto the floor next to him. Chompy chirped worriedly, "i-i-im alright, I swear!" Raph felt more gunk come up his throat he jumped out of bed dashing to the bathroom. Donnie, Leo, and Mikey ran out to see Raph puking his guts out. 

"RAPHIE!" Mikey yelled almost running to him but Donnie stopped him. "MIKEY NO! Raph is infected we must not go near him." Donnie said taking a step back. "y-yeah..I'm fine..guys...I can take care of myself.." Raph mumbled, gosh he felt so weak and useless. Raph walked out of the bathroom taking a garbage can with him, he growled slamming his door. Mikey winced, "Donnie! Tell me he will be fine tell me he will!" Mikey cried. "Mikey, I can't predict the future..." Donnie exhaled. "Let's just pray he will be fine," Leo said softly...

Raphael woke up he felt...better...fresher...stronger. Raph smirked getting out of bed and walking out, "Hey Guys what's up!" Raph said cheerfully. "Im guessing you're all better?" Donnie said. "Yeah.." Raph admitted. "Does that mean I can hug him now?!" Mikey asked. "NO!" Raph screamed. Mikey grinned running up to Raph and embracing him into a hug, Leo walked into the room, "Awe! Raphie after he was sick he was a big softie too!!" Leo sneered. "NO! I swear he fell into me!" Raph growled...Well at least Raph was all better...little did they know...worse stuff was on the way... and 2021 was just beginning.
