6. The Big Server

You had always been an introvert. Well, you used to not be, when you lived with your family in your parents server. When you all moved away, and your parents decided to push the sacred box, you have mainly been on your own. Sure, your big brother visited you sometimes, but your childhood friends drifted away, dreaming of their own dreams.

And here you were. With nothing to show save some pretty good building skills.

Well, you did have one thing.

You stood next to one of the stores, waiting for dream to pick you up.

You two were going on a date today. First, you would go shopping for this server's life. Then, you two would go to an amusement park.

This was one of biggest servers you could go to. It had so much in it. Right now, you were in the mall.

You noticed a big group of people around somebody. Some of them were wearing Dream merch.

"Dream! Dream! Please autograph my shirt!"

 Dream laughed. "Sorry guys, I can't stop and sign things today. I've got an important outing to attend to."

 Many of them whined. Some of them continued pestering him. Dream finally caved in and signed some things until he saw you.

You saw him, and a smile appeared on both of your faces. Though, dream was wearing his iconic mask. He pushed through the crowd and walked up to you.

 "Ready to go?"

"Of course," you walked next to him. "If you could keep the fans off of you, that is."

Dream scoffed and you laughed in response.

"Guys! Somebody else is with dream!"

"she doesn't look familiar."

"I bet they're a couple. "

"come on everyone! Leave Dream and his friend alone."

You laughed as you kept glancing at the crowd trying to follow you two, but others were handling the situation. "Are your fans this obnoxious Clay?" You grabbed his hand, and he allowed.

"Oh my G-!"

"She called him his Soul Name!"

"What?!?!"

The crowd was going insane.

"They are totally a Couple!"

Lucky, good samaritans were breaking up the crowd slowly.

"Come on (N)," dream continued on.

"let's shop till we drop!"

Later....

They had stopped at a small café, eating some cookies happily. "So, what amusement park are we heading to?" You mused with excitement.

Dream smiled sweetly at you. "It's a surprise."

"Aw!" You playfully whined.

You two kept on this conversation until you noticed somebody walking in. He was a few inches shorter than you, wearing a red shirt with two blacks steaks though the middle of it. His pants were a golden yellow, and his shoes light blue. His hair was black, and his eyes were the same exact color as yours.

 You recognized him, and a very happy smile spread on your face. Dream notice you were looking at someone. You stood up, and went to go walk over to him.

Dream was curious, and followed you. The Boy noticed you, and stared to smile as well.

"Shades! My dude!" You opened your arms to greet him with a hug, and he accepted. Dream looked on, confused and curious. you both departed. "How have you been?"

 Shade smiled back at your bright smile. "I've been doing well for myself. what about you?"

 You glanced back at dream, and looked down for a second. "I've had some luck."

Shade had realized who was with you. "Wait... You know dream?!" You stepped back to stand by Dream. You rubbed your neck. "Well, it's more than knowing him..."

Shade had caught on immediately. "What?!" Shade was shocked but he couldn't get his smile off his face. "I knew you were fire, but I had no idea that you could attract someone as big as him!"

You blushed, embarrassed by his comment. Dream coughed, but smiled."Well, you aren't wrong." Dream grabbed your hand while speaking, making you blush more. Shade seemed to tense up for a second, before becoming neutral again.

"so. Are you going to introduce us?"

"Oh!" You remembered and looked at both of them.

"Dream, meet my very close and bestest friend, Shade." Dream noticed you were slightly hesitant, like you were hiding something.

 Shade placed his hand out and dream shook it. "A pleasure to meet you."

 "And you already know who I am, so you should be good."

"Of course I know the multi-world famous Dream. Who doesn't?"

You laughed slightly and beamed. "So Shade, Still proud about your Guardian stasis?" You teased.

"As proud as the day we declared it." He smiled softly at you, making you return the same smile. Dream was still holding onto your hand, and started squeezing harder. You stopped smiling for a second, glancing down at your hands, then his face. you sensed that he had protective look on him. Shade's hand started beeping and he checked it.

"Would love to stay and talk, but I gotta run. Another build is upon me."

  You bro hugged him with your free hand, and shade started to run. He stopped and turned back to you. "Oh, and (N)!" He put his hand in his pocket and threw some cards at you. They had bar tags on them. When you saw them, you gasped.

"You said you needed a digital copy of the world changers, so I got them." He sped off, only yelling "You're welcome!"

You stared at them with wonder.

"Where in the world did he find those?" Dream stared at the cards.

"I have no idea. But he always seems to come through with a promise." You started to smile sweetly. You two started to walk out of the café, holding hands.

 "You and this Shade guy seem to be be really close." Dream told you. You nodded.

 "It's been like that since the day he became my BBBFF."

"Your what?" Dream asked, confused.

You laughed. "It's a long story. Mabye I'll have time to tell it to you one day."

Dream was questioning your relationship with Shade. He felt like something was off. "Are you sure you two are just friends?"

You knew what he was insinuating. "What?! Of course we're just friends! We have been platonic, and always will be. Besides, he has a Girlfriend already." You huffed, a little offended that dream would say that.

 "Okay, okay. Sorry." Dream apologized profusely. "I just feel an aura about him."

You rolled your eyes, and smiled.

 "Okay, Clay."
