Chapter 40

* Cuphead's POV

Man I'm such an idiot.

I panicked. He was coming in for a kiss and I blew him off. I just didn't want to make a wrong move. I love him. Whenever I try to go farther he doesn't like it. I don't think I could control myself. I texted him explaining what I did. I continued down the path to my house. I got there, closed the door, and let out a sigh. I went to my room and flopped on my bed.

I closed my eyes and drifted off to sleep.

-----------2 hours later---------------

    My phone rang next to my ear. I rubbed my eyes and answered.

"Hello?.."

"Cuphead... We can't find Bendy anywhere!!!!"

My heart dropped. I felt my breath start to shake. "Mugs what do you mean?!" I yelled into the phone. He explained that he had walked Boris home but when he called for Bendy he didn't come down. They looked all over the house and couldn't find him. It seems that he had left his phone on a table in the house. I got up and told them I'd help them look in the forest.

I put my shoes on and ran out the front door. So much raced throught my mind.

Was it my fault? Did he run away?

I shook myself out of those thoughts. I ran and as I got there Boris and Mugman came to me. Boris had been visibly crying. We decided to split into different areas. I decided to look by the cliftish area. I ran over there carefully. I looked around trying to spot anything.

I look to see a small figure curled up. I breathed a sign of relief but celebrated to early. A tall darker figure stalks towards him. My heart sank as I looked at both ends to try and find a way down there. I didnt find any better option but to slide. As I made this decision they grabbed Bendy and started to walk away. I slide down and tripped at the end. I fell forward and looked up this man had Bendy. Yet I couldn't get up. In once last sprint he was gone.

I was so close.

Bendy had been taken...
