Flame Breathing Flame Breathing (炎ほのおの呼こ吸きゅう, Honō no kokyū?) - One of the core Breathing Styles, this style ran in the Rengoku family since ancient times and is passed on to Kyojuro by his father.
First Form: Unknowing Fire (壱いちノ型かた不知火しらぬい, Ichi no kata: Shiranui?)[9] - Kyojuro charges towards his opponent at high speed and decapitates them in one or multiple slashes. This technique had enough force to launch train carriages off the tracks a short distance.
Second Form: Rising Scorching Sun (弐にノ型かた昇のぼり炎えん天てん, Ni no kata: Nobori en ten?)[10] - An ascending slash. Kyojuro used this technique to slice Akaza's arm in half.
Third Form: Fiery Spirits (参さんノ型かた気き炎えん万ばん丈じょう, San no kata: Kien Banjō?)[11] - Kyojuro swings his blade downwards in an arc.
Fourth Form: Blooming Flame Undulation (肆しノ型かた盛せい炎えんのうねり, Shi no kata: Sei en no uneri?)[12] - Kyojuro spins his sword in a circular motion, deflecting his enemies attacks.
Fifth Form: Flame Tiger (伍ごノ型かた炎えん虎こ, Go no kata: Enko?)[13] - A series of sword slashes that take on the form of a tiger.
Ninth Form: Rengoku (玖くノ型かた煉れん獄ごく, Ku no kata: Rengoku?)[14] - A devastating dashing slash that Kyojuro initiates from a high stance, the technique had enough power to carve a deep impression in the ground where he used it. Gyomei Himejima - Stone Breathing Stone Breathing (岩いわの呼こ吸きゅう, Iwa no kokyū?) is one of the five main Breathing Styles derived from the Sun Breathing. The Breathing Style was originally created by one of Yoriichi Tsugikuni's students who attempted to learn the Sun Breathing, but, due them to not being as innately powerful as Yoriichi, unable to master it and was instead taught an alternative personalized breathing style by their teacher that focused specifically on their strengths and weaknesses, eventually branching out completely and becoming the Stone Breathing.[1]

First Form: Serpentinite Bipolar (壱いちノ型かた蛇じゃ紋もん岩がん・双そう極きょく, Ichi no kata: Jamongan - Sōkyoku?)[2] - Gyomei throws both the flail and axe towards his intended target and manipulates the chain by rotating it thus causing the axe and flail to also rotate in order to drill and grind right though his target.
Second Form: Upper Smash (弐にノ型かた天てん面めん砕くだき, Ni no Kata: Tenmen Kudaki?)[3] - Gyomei throws both his axe and spiked flail for a pincer move before smashing down on the chain to cause the flail to then rebound and smash his target from afar.
Third Form: Stone Skin (参さんノ型かた岩がん軀くの膚はだえ, San no Kata: Ganku no Hadae?) [4] - Himejima unleashes a series of slashes with his sword deflecting nearby attacks.
Fourth Form: Volcanic Rock - Rapid Conquest (肆しノ型かた流りゅう紋もん岩がん・速そく征せい, Shi no Kata: Ryūmongan - Sokusei?)[5] - Gyomei manipulates both the flail and axe weapons at both ends of the chain by swinging the chain on both sides in order to strike his opponents using a two pronged wide ranged attack.
Fifth Form: Arcs of Justice (伍ごノ型かた瓦が輪りん刑ぎょう部ぶ, Go no kata: Garin gyōbu?)[6] - Gyomei utilizes a powerful barrage with his flail and axe, doing a great amount of damage. The axe is destined to hit first with the trajectory of the flail following from the opposite side and slamming into the opponent.
