Please others
Why do we try so much to be
Accepted by them
We try so hard to become
Something we're not
That we end up losing our real
Selves in a sea of masks
We become what society wants
Us to be
Not the person we want to be
We just can't seem to understand
That there's nothing wrong with
Being yourself
Even if society says we are wrong
Be proud of who you are
Let no one tell you differently
Because if being myself gets me hated
Then I'll gladly take all of the hate
With a smile on my face
