The Wolf I Am Inside

Chapter 1

Hello once again readers! Thank yo for those who have voted, and read this story! I like it when you do that. Haha. But first, I want to tell you guys that be sure to vote for my story, I would gladly appreciate it if you do, and leave a comment if you will, a nice one that is. This chapter, I'll be introducing her friend, and that will be said later in this chapter. So stay tuned.

> Janice's Pov

It was time for classes, and I was meeting up with my best friend, Amber Carly Styles, I call her Amber. She was standing in front of our classroom before our teacher would arrive, and she was the first and only person I would share my secret to. Since she's my best friend ever since we were little kids, I could trust her, and she trusts me.

" Hey Jace, what took you so long? " Amber complained while she was fixing her hair, and I messed it up again as a joke, " Jace! You know it took several hours to do this?! " she raged at me, and I just laughed it off. We went in the room and sat together, but this time, I caught a scent, of a wolf.. no, more than just a whole.. they're a whole pack! Shit!

" Psst! " I slapped Amber softly on the shoulder, and she looked at me, enraged. " I smell a couple of freaking wolves, they're a pack for sure! " I said in a nervous tone, I felt them glaring at me, they'll try to communicate with me through telepathy, but they can't shift into their wolf forms yet, Wooh, I think I'm safe? For now? Ugh. I hate this. " I feel like I'm being closely watched by them Amber. "

" Stop reacting so much Jace, I know you, you little ding dong. " She pinched my nose and I pinched her cheek back, soon as we stopped, the teacher came in and started the lecture. It won't be lone until our break starts, they might go in for the attack on me, since I'm a loner she-wolf. " Amber.. " I said in my mind.

Classes soon ended, but I was nervous as hell, those wolves kept on looking at me, but as soon as they were called by the guidance councilor, they all followed her anyway. " Let's just go before they come back and skin me after they kidnap me Amber. " I held onto her arm.

" Jace, you're hurting me. " She said in a firm tone, and she punched my cheek, " Don't use your wolf powers on me, geez girl. Not all wolves are like that, some are very loving, they just want to protect their families and their pack. Another is, rouges are the bad ones, they are the ones who go insane. " she said. I'm impressed.

" You know more about wolves than me, aside from the fact that I'm the werewolf here and not you. " I said in awe. And she sighed and answered back to me, " And now who doesn't like wolves enough to know about them? " she said in another firm tone. I like Amber, she's strong and mature.. well, at times she isn't.

We have finished eating, then finished classes, I didn't feel as scared anymore since the pack had stopped glaring at me, it was like they didn't even see me, despite from the fact they're all wolves.

Both me and Amber we're going home together, but since we both got distracted with the new sushi shop that just opened in town, we had to go eat in there! " This was a good idea. " Amber said with her mouth full of sushi, and she was holding the chopsticks with another sushi roll on there, and I was laughing, " I agree. "

" Hey Amber, mother said you should go home early today, sorry for bothering you. " Her brother, Angelo came in and dragged her away, leaving me behind. Ugh... good thing she paid for the bill, I didn't bring any money, so I guess I was walking home. But she did say for me to be careful, especially when going to the woods.

But I couldn't help myself, even if my human self wanted to go home and stay there like an imprisoned guinea pig, my annoying wolf kept dragging me to the woods, where it told me that I was free, like a bird, but I was still cautious. " Ah, the crescent moon is better viewed on the top hill. " I thought, and I was in my wolf form. I hid my clothes under the bushes.

" I feel so free, freedom.. " I ran and ran, and felt the cold wind rush through my fur as I was running. I reached the top of the hill and there was the crescent moon, there I out my leg farther, and lifted my head, to howl, the first time I did, it felt so good. " Freedom is beautiful! " I howled once more and looked at the sparkling lake under the hill I was at.

My wolf ran to the lake to drink some water, and that's when I caught a scent, of a wolf, I looked back, and growled at those green orbitals that were piercing through me. " A lone she-wolf, kinda rare. " It was a male, and my nose began to understand him, he was an alpha. What could've made an alpha go here? To me specifically? " What do you want? " I said fiercely.

" Good thing you're not a rouge, but, why are you here, a lone she-wolf? " He said, appearing from the shadows, he was tall, and he had his silver coat with grey add-ons to the tip of his tail, he looked strong, but I won't give in to that. " I hate rouges, I hate all kinds of wolves. " I growled and showed my sharp fangs, but he remained calm.

" Then how come you're a wolf yourself? " He said, coming closer to me, I felt something, I felt a pull.. but.. I don't understand what this is. Is this a normal reaction upon seeing an alpha? " What are you doing..? " I said, looking at him and at me, and was all confused at the time. " You don't know this pull? " He said, I knew it, he's causing this madness. I hate it.

He turned around, facing away from me, " I don't know you're name. " he said. But I immediately answered, " I don't wanna tell you, and I will never plan to. " I growled, he answered back with a grin, " Then, I'll tell you mine, I'm Khyle Aldrin Duch. " he said, and I just shook my head, there he began to leave.

That's the end of the first chapter, I know it's short, since I'm using my IOS device, of course I would have trouble!
If I was using my laptop, or a computer somewhere, then I won't have any trouble with a longer one.
But I promise you, I'll make a longer one next time! I'll just need my inspiration.
