Love in a War

(I have a question, should I make Sakura and Hinata the antagonists? Anyway enjoy!)

Sasuke, Sakura, and Sarada enter Uzamaki's home. “You wanna go play with Boruto and Himawari, Sadara?” Naruto asked, crouching down to the tween’s height. She let a little ‘tsk’, and mumbled something about how she doesn’t want to be around people who aren’t worthy of her presence. Naruto slightly scowled, but brushed it off. 

As the older Uchiha walked in, Sasuke gave Naruto a lustful smirk. Naruto blushed a little and mumbled ‘teme’ repeatedly.  Naruto and Sasuke made their little cute rambles very, very noticeable to the ladies. As soon as Hinata noticed this hassle she immediately got pissed. She knew what was going on.

She knew about them.

And she was not having it.

Sadly Sakura (ugh, i’m sorry to the people who like her, i can't stand her .. s
orry) was completely oblivious to the situation. Sasuke and Sakura sat down across from each other, as did Naruto and Hinata. Hinata set up the table, while Naruto kept them entertained. This is how it always was. Naruto on the front lines, and Hinata in his shadow; doing the dirty work. Somehow he always ended up doing more in everyone's eyes. Another thing she was not having. 

Everyone was underestimating her. Truly she was one of the best kunoichi in the entire village. Sometimes she wished Naruto was in her shoes. Being almost forgotten, made to stay home and take care of two abominations, well her eyes they were.

Sakura was put in about the same position as Hinata, except the neglect was loud and clear. At one point she realized that the only reason that went to the Hokage to get mission after mission is to get away from her and their child. She turned to one of her closest friends..Hinata. Comforting turned into sexual sessions very quickly. But it was more than that, their love for eachother went very deep. Deeper than anything they had for their current spouses.

They were going to tell Sasuke and Naruto that the relationships between them weren’t going to work, and that they should part ways, but once Hinata started to suspect the two men, everything went downhill. All trust between the four adults done with a zap.

Once the table was set, all food, and kitchen instruments there they said their prayers, and started eating. 

“So, Naruto, you’ve been staying at the office a lot lately. Have you, Sasuke and Shikamaru discovered something.” Hinata was playing a dangerous game, one wrong word and she would expose herself. She prayed to Kami that Sakura would catch on, and not expose herself and Hinata. With a mouth full of Tonkatsu Naruto responded. 

“Since there have been more thieves around the village lately, and Shika is on maternity leave since Temari is having another child, so Sasuke has been helping me.” Right after those words he stuffed his mouth with Sashimi. Sasuke let a little ‘hn’. Sakura was completely oblivious to the tension going on in the room.  

In Sakura’s mind this was a normal conversation, but for others this was the 5th great Ninja War. Not something they all look forward to. “Oh Hinata did you tell them about the papers?”; and..she blew it. Everyone knew what ‘the papers’ were. Anyone in the situation they were in, had to be able to understand what Sakura meant. Two words. Divorce papers.

Naruto’s head shot up. “What do you mean Sakura?” Naruto was specifically asking Sakura, he knew Hinata would be able to come up with an excuse or a lie, but he wasn’t so sure Sakura had the same skills. “The divorce papers did Hinata not tell you?” Sakura realized what she had said the second she was done speaking. She whipped her head around to find a very angry Hyuga staring straight at her, as if saying ‘I’m going to kill you’ 

Now this is where things get interesting. People have told NAruto that he’s a good actor, it’s time to test that theory. “What do you mean divorce papers Hinata?” The blonde asked, masking his voice with innocence and sorrow. Now, Hinata was put in a hard position. Nothing she said could convince the males that whatever Sakura just said was a lie or a bluff, Sakura Haruno wasn’t much of a liar anyway.

“Papa!”; and here comes the life saving daughter. At least to Hinata she is. Naruto got up and went to go see what was the matter with his daughter, leaving Sasuke with the two women. Various whispering could be heard coming from the two women across. Sasuke leaned in his chair a little, kind of slouching. “Care to explain Hinata?” Hinata was sure she could outwit the Uchiha.

She was not going to fail.

Nor was she going to let the Uchiha outsmart her.

Over her dead body.

Let the 5th Great Ninja War commence!
