What did I do wrong Taekook ff

Part 12

It has been weeks, the two have been working very well. Of course, at first it was awkward between the two but now its going well. How you may ask, well they just work together, and they don't talk much. Come on, Jungkook is a mafia he doesn't have time for peoples bullshit.

However, Taehyung gets along with everyone, he at first wanted to be with Jungkook at all times, but now all he cares about is his work. Jungkook is the last thing he cares about, although Taehyung is always around Jungkook he doesn't seem to even want his attention.

Jungkook found it weird that Taehyung stopped wanting attention as Taehyung has always wanted attention especially from Jungkook. Jungkook didn't take that into heart, but he didn't like that Taehyung never spoke or did anything for him apart from his paperwork as that is Taehyung's job. Deep down Jungkook knows he still loves Taehyung but he doesn't want to look weak, so he stopped showing his love to him.

Right now, Jungkook is sitting in his office, while Taehyung was sitting at a table doing paperwork in Jungkook's office. Jungkook would take a glance from time to time. He always felt bad, but he didn't know why he wasn't the one that cheated, in fact he was the one that got cheated on.

Jungkook's p.o.v

While I was doing my own work, Taehyung was doing his work. I was thinking about my past with Taehyung when suddenly the door opened with a big bang.

"Can't you FUCKIN KNOCK" I looked up angrily and saw a girl with what seemed like her father.

"Jungkook" The old man said, but I looked back down at my paperwork.

"Don't call me that, what do you want"

"Jeon, we are the Kim's and I want you to marry my daughter" I was about to speak when I heard Taehyung's voice crack.

"F-father" I looked up at Taehyung to see him in tears, then it hit me, the old guy was Taehyung's father. How didn't I notice that.

"Taehyung" I stood up and watched them. Suddenly Mr Kim slapped Taehyung.

"Stop" Mr Kim kept hitting him while Taehyung was pleading for him to stop. "STOP" finally Mr Kim stopped.

I ran up to Taehyung and picked him up off the floor. I placed him on the sofa and looked back at Mr Kim.

"What are you doing" Mr Kim tried pushing me, but I am not skinny like 2 year ago, I am muscular and now he is the one skinny.

"MOVE, I want to kill that brat" I held Mr Kim by his collar

"MR KIM WHY are you hurting him." He looked at me a little shocked.

"Because I hate that useless kid" I was now death glaring Mr Kim.

"Good keep hating him, but do NOT hit him. Taehyung is now under my care so if you ever come near him then I will FUCKIN KILL YOU" I threw Mr Kim a punch and flung him to the floor. "DON'T SHOW YOUR FACE EVER AGAIN" Mr Kim and his daughter ran away.

I quickly turned around to Taehyung and kneeled in front of him. I removed Taehyung's hand from the cheek and saw how red it is, so I put my hand on the cheek instead.  Taehyung flinched from the sudden touch of my hand.

"It's ok, I won't let anyone hurt you" Taehyung and I made eye contact.

"I missed you" Taehyung suddenly said, I was taken back by the unexpected use of words.

I removed my hand and walked away, Taehyung would have thought I walked away from him, but I was actually getting him an ice pack. When I got the ice pack I walked back to my office and I saw Taehyung looking at his lap. He looks like he was about to cry. I walked up to him and lifted his head up with two of my fingers. He looked at me and the sad look on his face really hurt me, but I couldn't change that. I gently placed the ice pack on his cheek and for some reason decided to kiss his other cheek.
