Olivia's POV

I woke up that sunny morning to my dad screaming at an owl who kept trying to give Olivers and my hogwarts letters to him but was constantly running into the window. "That is the fifteenth owl this month," he sighed to my brother who was already awake. "I'll go check to see whait was holding," Oliver offered. "It's probably just Olivia's and your hogwarts letters," my dad replies.

Olivia walked all the way to the kitchen where her father and her brother were standing. "Is that my hogwarts letter?" I Olivia asked. "Pretty sure it is, I mean it's not like you have any friends," Oliver replied. "Hey, I have more friends than you so," I add hitting his arm.

"Well it's a Hogwarts letter alright," Our dad tells us. Instead of listening to my dad reading the letter sounding boring
I snatch it out of his hand and read it to myself. For some reason instead of getting a mix of Scottish and Irish accent I have an English sometimes even sounding American accent.

Oliver tried to read my letter but I ran into our shed that I know he wasn't smart enough to open. It always had a lock in case any muggles came along they wouldn't be able too get in. It gave you a riddle and if you didn't answer a certain way then it wouldn't let you in.

I always got the riddles right unlike my brother who's brain was too filled with quidditch to process the question. I finished reading the letter and started to read the list. Why the heck would you put so many things for students to get and for them to only use them for one year.

My dad wasn't good at the riddles either. I was like my mom and Oliver was like my dad. Sadly my mom died when I was little so most of my memories of her aren't clear. All of a sudden I heard my dad and my brother pounding on the door for me too let them in.

Instead of letting them in I fell asleep on the cozy couch for 3 hours. I never got any sleep this summer because between my dads beeping alarm clock, my brother yelling about quidditch and me having the need to stay up late, i couldn't get much sleep.

That is one of the things I am excited about going to hogwarts for. Getting a full 9 hour sleep one of my hopes. I'm also excited about talking to people my own age. I'm honestly getting tired of talking to the same two annoying people everyday.

I wake up from my three hour nap. ¨Olivia, WAKE UP!¨ My brother out of breath screams. Thump. I fell onto the hardwood floor. ¨Ouch!¨ I complain getting up. I don't know why I got up in the first place.

I started walking to the door but when I opened it no one was there. I looked around to see if anyone was near. No one was so I ran inside. I passed my dad who was reading Olivers letter over and over again. I think he was sad that I was going away.

Luckily I had to pack so that drifted my mind away from it. I have no idea how to pack so I just jam most of my clothes, Books, toothpaste, toothbrush, hair supplies, pictures, quills, envelopes and many more random necessities. After what seems like for ever I'm done packing.

I put my packed trunk that's almost as big as me and set it on my bed to stare at. My dad gives me some floo powder and tells me we are going to Diagon Alley. I pick up my truck and drag it over to the fire place surprisingly without spilling any of the floo powder. By now I'm a expert at the use of floo powder "Diagon Ally"I say very clearly. Although my brother isn't as used to it as me. It's hard for him because of his accent.

I end up in Diagon Ally with my right hand gripping my suitcase. "Here we go" I say under my breath walking into Diagon alley away from Oliver and my dad. It was my first year at hogwarts unlike my older brother so I was excited to get my first EVER wand. Hopefully last too but I know I'm too clumsy for that.

As I'm trying waking away from anyone with the last name Wood I fall to the ground. I cant believe i just tripped over air infront of about 35 people. I hold my books close to my chest standing up quickly trying to cause less attention. By now my face is covered with embarrassment.

"Are you lost dear?" A kind women's voice asked. I turn around to see a short women with 4 young boys and 1 girl all having bright red hair. "No I'm just getting away from my dad and my brother," I reply. "Ok what is your name dear?' She wonders. "Olivia Wood," I answer.

"Ahh, you're woods sister," two of the boys who I'm guessing are twins add. "Ya I am," I reply wondering how they know my brother. "Are you as obsessed as quidditch as your psychotic brother?" They ask together. "Fred and George Weasley!" The woman scolded them. Now I was 100 percent sure they were the goofy buldgers my brother talked about.

"I am Molly Weasley," the woman introduces. She starts too point one by one at the children and says "That is Fred, George, Ron, Ginny and Percy." "I'm guessing you two are on the quidditch team with my brother," I ask looking directly at Fred and George. "Yes we are actually" Fred answers.

"There you are trying to run away from us!" I hear my dad yell. "Nice to meet you all but, I gotta go, bye" I say slowly running away. I see a store that reads Cauldrons for young wizards (not a real store I know) and run in. Accidentally I knock down a young quite good looking boy. "Sorry," I apologize quickly. "No problem, I'm Cedric Diggory," he assures me putting his hand out for me too shake. I shake it and reply "I'm Olivia Wood".
