18. Hug

3RD PERSON'S POV

"hi jihoonie! we'll be going to my father's tangerine farm." seungkwan said

"really?!" jihoon asked with an excited expression

the two boys were currently watching tv at jihoon's house. if jihoon was being honest, he was definitely bored of watching tv and not doing anything else.

suddenly, the two boys heard a loud beep coming from outside the house. they immediately went outside and jihoon locked the door.

"dad!" seungkwan greeted his father who was inside a car

"son! is he jihoon?" seungkwan's father asked and jihoon nodded

"hello, sir. my name is lee jihoon." jihoon said and bowed

"just call me dad. you're my son's friend so it's okay." seungkwan's father said and smiled warmly at jihoon

"c'mon, the tangerines are waiting." seungkwan said and got inside the car with jihoon following him

during the whole ride, seungkwan's father kept teasing his son. jihoon just smiled and laughed at the jokes his friend's father said.

"don't mind him." seungkwan whispered to jihoon

"your dad is fun." jihoon said

"your dad is fun too, considering the fact that he's the greatest mafia of all time." seungkwan said which made jihoon chuckle

"oh, you're ban do and jin joo's son?" seungkwan's father asked

"yupp!" jihoon said while smiling

"how are they lately? i heard they went overseas for another business trip to attend to." seungkwan's father said while driving

"ah they've been good." jihoon replied, still smiling

"anyways, we're here now!" seungkwan squealed while pointing outside

and there, jihoon found a very nice scenery. a farm full of tangerines and other fruits.

"woah." jihoon mumbled

"let's go to the farm now, jihooniee!" seungkwan said and opened the door for jihoon after his father parked the car

just as when jihoon was about to go outside of the car, he heard a girl screaming seungkwan's name.

"yah kwannie! what's with the surprise visit? did you miss your noona?" a girl asked while pinching seungkwan's cheek

"noona, don't embarrass me. i have a friend with me." seungkwan said and as if on cue, jihoon got outside the car

"my my my~ aren't you a cutie?" seungkwan's older sister said and chuckled after seeing his brother's face

"yah don't even." seungkwan said and rolled his eyes and pulled jihoon away from his sister

"wait, kwan. are you, perhaps, lee jihoon? like, the brother of seungho?" seungkwan's sister asked jihoon

"yeah, i am!" jihoon said with a smile

"i knew it! hi, i'm mina and i'm your brother's bestfriend." mina said and hugged jihoon

"yah don't hug him, noona." seungkwan said which made his sister laugh

"psh possessive much, kwan?" mina laughed

"yeah yeah, whatever." seungkwan said, looking at the floor

jihoon just smiled and thought, 'cute.'

"anyways, i have to get going now. i'll be third wheeling again and i hope you enjoy strolling at our farm, jihoonie!" mina said and smiled

after looking at mina walk away, seungkwan immediately held jihoon's hand and they walked towards the farm.

"oh, sorry about my noona. she's not always like that." seungkwan apologized

"it's okay, kwan." jihoon said and smiled

"c'mon, let's go!" seungkwan said

the two both walked side by side as they strolled inside the farm.

kwan and his father took jihoon back to his house. actually, today was really fun. seungkwan's parents are very nice and they're really caring. seungkwan's soon to be boyfriend will be really loved.

"hyung, do you mind if i tell you a secret before the day ends?" seungkwan asked jihoon and he nodded

jihoon waved goodbye and seungkwan and his father did the same.

as usual, jihoon went inside his house and started to write things in his diary. he smiled as he closed the nitebook and hid it in his usual hiding space.

"hah. today was fun indeed." jihoon said and hugged zion

sorry if this chapter is too short. i haven't had any inspiration to continue this book. it's not that i have favorites in seventeen bUt being on a tangerine date is something that i haven't experienced yet so i kinda had a writer's block while doing this chapter. i love kwan so much that he's number two on my bias list. the first one is shua :>
