After the interview.
"It was a pleasure meeting you Y/N I hope to see you Monday afternoon." Mrs.Partridge said shaking my hand. "No thank you so much!" I said walking away from the table. "Ah dang it I forgot to bring my book." I whispered to myself. I walked towards the romance novels to find a new book.I grabbed the first book that seem to have caught my attention 'WINDFALL BY JENNIFER E.SMITH' this seems interesting. I read the summary of the book to myself. 'Alice doesn't believe in luck at least, not the good kind. But she does believe in love, and for some time now-' I read the summery in my head seeing if it would be a good read.

A FEW MOMENTS LATER

I had already began reading it when I got rudely interrupted by a voice. "Nice read right?" a familiar British accent says. I look up and see its the guy I kept bumping into these couple of days. "Are you following me?" I blurted out. Shit. "Its more like you're following me." He reply's laughing. That was cute. "Excuse me?" I say to him in a jokingly manner. "I have a reason I'm here I don't know about you though. You don't seem like the type of guy who I would picture in a library." I say walking to a table to sit. He laughs. I pull out my chair and continue reading. I see him sit beside me from the corner of. "So, what are you doing here since 'you're not following me' "he said while finger quoting marks. "ha ha very funny." I said sarcastically. "I came here for a job interview." I said trying to continue reading. "Wel-" I suddenly got a call that interrupted him I quickly reached for my pocket to grab my phone. I got it out as fast as I could to stop the ringing that it fell out of my hands. But before it hit the carpet floor I saw that he had caught it. "You're so clumsy" he says handing it to me. As he hands it to me our fingers touch. i felt weird. I grab my phone from him and see it was my mom. I was about to answer when the call ended. "Wow all that for nothing" I say to myself. " I better get going." I say to the boy. I had already forgot his name which is not normal for me. "goodbye ." I told him as I gathered my things "Wait before you leave can you tell me your name?" he said as he got up too. "Id like to keep that a secret Luke." I say to him. I knew that wasn't his name but I recall his name beginning with a L and that was the first name with a letter L so I I just said that. As I left the library I realized another thing had slipped my mind. I still had the book. I didn't put it back on the shelf. I turned around and went back into the library. I walked quickly to the romance isle and put it there when I heard the boy say something rather loudly. "Mom do you know who that girl was?" I couldn't see who he was talking to.It was strange to hear him ask about me since I hardly knew the guy. I left the library for the 2nd time today hungrier than ever.
