Saturday
REED'S POV
BEEP BEEP BEEP BEE-
I groaned grabbing my phone and pressing snooze for the 2nd time. I realized I would be late to my interview. " Oh god no". I got up as fast as I could and ran to my bathroom. "God I can't even shower." I grabbed my toothbrush from the jar I kept it in and did the usual. I sprinted to my closet and grabbed my mom jeans and my green sweater and ran towards my bed to sit and change.
A FEW MOMENTS LATER
KNOCK KNOCK
"Reed are you awake?" My mom said from the hall. "a bit busy right now." I said trying to detangle my hair. "Whats the rush for?" she asked. "Well I am late to a job interview at the library." I said finally putting my hair in a ponytail. I slipped on my black converse and headed straight for the door. "Reed where are you going?!" my mom said as I ran out of the house. "Shit I forgot my board!" I groaned. It was too late to turn back around so i sprinted as fast as i could praying i could still get there before it was to late.
7 Minutes later
I was almost there. I turned the corner too fast that I bumped into the corner of the wall. 'Gosh why am I being so clumsy today' I whispered to myself.I had finally reached the Library and opened the door quickly which caused it to hit someone in the face. "Ouch that hurt." A Familiar voice said. I turned to where the voice came from and realized it was that boy from yesterday . "SOrry." I apologized quickly as i continued on walking towards the counter i wondered what he was doing here. "Hi I am here for a job interview?" I told the lady at the counter. "Ah yes. Go ahead and go to the back!" she replied back pointing towards a table in the far back. "Thank you." I said to the lady as I walked towards where a tall lady was waiting.
"Hello I am so sorry I am late I ha-" "It's alright dear. No need to worry it's a library ,take a seat."She said pointing to the chair in-front of her. I pulled the chair out and sat down.
PSA I have no idea what to put for the interview so im just gonna let it slide:)
