F/N's perspective
It's been at least a day after I arrived in Atlas, the plan has...... mostly gone into effect. I've been giving a room to stay in while I wait for the construction of my forces to be completed. Though my thoughts lingered on the conversation I had with the general about the deal as I laid in bed.
Flashback
F/N: "Sir come on it'll work."
Ironwood: "I'm sorry but do you think I'm going to just let you build an army in my kingdom, do you think I'm insane!"
F/N: "You're semblance easily makes you so, trust me on that."
I said with a serious tone. I hadn't told anyone yet, but recently I had a couple dreams... all relating to the state of the main RWBY timeline..... and the state Atlas had found themselves in. Scales could sense my tension and stayed quiet, laying across my shoulders.
Ironwood: "How do you-
F/N: "I've seen things sir..... what did the old wizard tell you about me?"
Ironwood: "That there was a new threat arising and that you had a solution..... but this.....
He put a hand to his chin, trying to mold over the information. I sighed, bringing down all the blueprints except for one. Walking over, I pulled out my scroll and started to type on it. Ironwood took notice and was about to ask me what I was doing till a hard-dust scream popped up, showing the schematics for the Atlantan knights.
Ironwood: "H-how did you."
F/N: "Something Mr. Watts showed me, but despite your lack of cyber security, I want you to look at these."
I swiped my hand in the air, bringing up the blueprint of my own Spectre. Ironwood seemed interested as I had a program on my scroll break down both of them, showing the clear superiority of mine over the current Atlas model of atomiton.
F/N: "I'm not saying I'm not going to give my designs, I owe you that much, but the first wave needs to be under my command alone........ think of it as a.......testing period."
I said, trying my best to appeal to his more military side.
Ironwood: "Glossing over that dead man's name for now...... elaborate on that last statement."
F/N: "The threat we face now, is a very intelligent grimm, codenamed it 'Wrath'. I've fought it before..... it didn't go as well as I liked."
Ironwood: "And you think the machines and craft you build could do the job?"
F/N: "No, but they would be able to clear the thrall of minor grimm, allowing me to focus on just him."
Ironwood gave me a hard look, his mind in a battle of which side to take on the matter, but I smiled to myself as he let out a defeated sigh.
Ironwood: "..........Fine, I will agree, but only to a certain extent till I know it's worth my resources."
F/N: "That's all I ask, and I'll even upgrade your network in the process."
Ironwood: "Then we have a deal."
He held out his hand. I closed out the screens and slid my scroll into my pocket before shaking his sealing the deal.
Ironwood: "For your sake, I hope this works."
F/N: "Believe me, I want this to work more than anyone."
Ironwood broke the handshake before calling Winter inside.
Ironwood: "Winter!"
Winter: "Yes sir?"
