Good bye's?

I went to the bathroom to clean up the blood, coming out of my mouth. After I finished we started to walk to lunch together. While we were walking I saw Ethan running down the stairs, he basically jumped the last 6 rows. Where was he headed in such a hurry? I thought he might be heading to his mom's office, but then I realized he was going the other way.

He was practically running now, so I decided to follow him, this was either a good idea or a bad one. I followed him for about five minutes until I realized we were in the old building that no one uses anymore. He ran into one of the old classrooms, so I waited then began to peek through the window on the door.

Was- was I seeing this correctly?

"Do you have what you said you'd bring?"

"Yea do you have.. the thing"

".ok now let's start the bargain.."

"Wait, were you followed?"

"No"

"Are you sure"

"Yea everyone was in class when I left"

"Ok good"

They handed each other something wrapped in a dark cloth, now I'm curious. After they traded items they dispersed, the other person jumped out of the window and Ethan started walking towards the door I was hiding behind. Fuck. He's gonna find me, I gotta get outta here.

I take off running and make it around the corner before he leaves the room.

"Am I good?" I whisper to myself, while I continue to sneak towards the main building.

I make it back without him seeing me and all the other kids were walking to either the bus stop or the parking lot to go home. Ashley runs up to me asking where I have been. I lied and said I was in the bathroom, she said ok, and we headed toward her car so we could go home.

"Are you sure you were in the bathroom that whole time?" Ashley asked me questioning

"... no, I followed Ethan," I reply

"Oh, and what happened?"

"We went all the way to the old part of the school,"

"Annnddd"

"He went into an old classroom and made a trade with some super sketchy guy"

"Really? That doesn't seem like something he would do"

"Well we can talk about this later, we made it to ur house"

"Ok"

After we went inside we went to her room, her room had walls, they were dark grey. She had pop posters all over her room, they were all-girl bands though. she also had purple and blue fairy lights hung on the walls. her room was very homie, and I loved to hang out at her place because she always had snack foods.

After we got snacks we spent the rest of that night watching Netflix movies and eating snacks, we stayed up really late because we didn't have school in the morning. Everything was going fine, until the next morning, when I looked into her eyes, I saw it...
