17 year old hueningkai sees yeonjun running through the school halls in a hurry. "hey yeonjun did you get the biology n-"
"sorry hyuka im gonna be late to dance class gotta go." yeonjun said and ran off. kai was upset cause he was counting on his best friend to give him the bio notes like he promised. hyuka sighed, and walked into class ready to fail the exam thanks to the cotton candy haired boy.

the next day in the cafeteria
"hyuka" yeonjun wined while pouting. the younger boy ignored yeonjun and got in the lunch line with his tray. "im sorry i let you down yesterday with the bio notes." hyuka glared at him and moved up a little in the line. "how can i make it up to you?" yeonjun asked his best friend desperately wanting him not to be mad anymore.
yeonjuns eyes lit up when he got an idea. just as kai was about to get his lunch and pay for it yeonjun stepped in front of him and faced him. he took the tray from his hand and just as kai was about to scold him yeonjun stopped him and said, "let me buy you your lunch today to make it up to you."
kai chewed on his own lip thinking for a sec then said, "ok but you will also buy me grape juice everyday when you and me walk together to school for a week."
"deal!" yeonjun exclaimed happily, he then hugged kai tightly and kissed his cheek.
hyuka blushed slightly and smiled at his friend and watched as he paid for both of their lunches.

night time
kai was sleeping when suddenly heard a loud dud. he woke up to see yeonjun standing there. "what are you doing here?" kai asked in a whisper. "you haven't answered any of my texts or calls for a week straight. i had to come over to make sure you were alive." yeonjun said.
"well go away. my parents will hear you and it's 3am." kai said. "no. not till i find out what's wrong with you." yeonjun said. "fine you know what's wrong? you told the a nasty rumor about me." hueningkai said. "what? what rumor?" yeonjun asked confused.
"don't pretend you don't know. you told everyone that the reason you hang around me is cause i pay you to," kai started crying. "and now everyone is coming up to me and saying that they'll be my friend cause they wanna make easy money."
"kai, i promise you i did not say that at all. i never ever would and you know that." yeonjun said. "yeah right just leave." kai said.
yeonjun tried walking up to kai but kai stopped him by saying, "leave yeonjun."
yeonjun was hurt but climbed out kais window and left. but not before glancing at kai who was laying down quietly weeping with his back turned.

next day cafeteria
kai was sitting at a empty table alone. he was looking down and just playing with his food with his fork. "hey huening." kai looked up and saw a boy who he didn't know. "can i sit here?" the boy asked. kai was hesitant but nodded. the boy sat next to kai and put his lunch down next to hyukas.
"listen hueningkai, i know we don't know each other, but i just wanna let you know i think these rumors are really stupid. i would love to hang out later at the arcade with you, if that's ok?"
"yeah sure. and thanks." kai said and smiled.
the boy smiled back, then stuck out his hand. "ok now that i'm your friend, give me money. i need it for gas." the boy said and started laughing. he then got up, got his lunch tray and walked away still laughing loudly.
kai's lip started quivering and his eyes started becoming glossy. but just before he could cry actual tears he saw a pink haired boy storm into the cafeteria with rage in his eyes.
yeonjun stood in the middle of the cafeteria and whistled gaining everyone's attention. "listen up, whoever made up that rumor up about kai and whoever has been bullying him cause of it, well you better hope and pray that i don't see you cause you'll have to deal with me. also, i have a little announcement to make about myself, i'm gay and in love with Hyuka.
so if you guys wanna bully him, bully me too." yeonjun said. everyone including kai was shocked. the most popular and hottest boy in school was gay and in love with huening kai?!
"you're lying!," someone yelled. "yeonjun would never ask out a nobody like huening."
"oh yeah?" yeonjun walked up to kais table, stood in front of him and said, "huening kai, would you go out with me?"
"will you pay for everything this time?" kai asked his best friend trying to bite back a smile.
yeonjun chuckled and nodded, "yes i will."
"then yes i would like that." kai said giggling. yeonjuns face lit up and he smiled happily. kai then unexpectedly kissed yeonjun on the lips shocking the pink haired boy. but once he recovered from the shock he smiled through the kiss and kissed his long time best friend and crush back.
