yeonjun was sitting quietly in history class taking notes. he was rapidly writing trying to take note of everything. "psst." yeonjun heard from beside him. he turned his head and saw kang taehyun looking at him. "can i please barrow a pencil, i broke mine." the red haired boy whispered to the blue haired boy.
even though yeonjun hardly talked to taehyun he was nice so he nodded yes and slightly smiled at him. yeonjun turned around to grab his yellow pencil bag from his backpack pocket. but when he reached for the bag his chair suddenly toppled over causing him and the desk chair to fall face first on the floor.
everyone started laughing at him. "yeonjun are you ok?" the teacher asked worriedly. "i'm ok." yeonjun said. he moved out from under the chair, got up and picked the chair up putting it back in his desk. just as yeonjun was about to sit down again he noticed the chair's nails that were supposed to hold it in place were lose and sticking out. "hueningkai!" he yelled angrily and spun around to glare at the boy sitting a few desks away.
"what?" kai said trying to act innocent. "you loosened my chair!" yeonjun said angrily. the devil boy who was disguised as a angel scoffed like the genius boy was speaking nonsense. "please, you think i would pull something that lame?" kai asked with a eyebrow raised and a smirk on his face. "plus you're not worth that much effort."
the room went silent. it was the uncomfortable embarrassing kind of silence. yeonjun looked around and saw everyone looking at him. yeonjun was humiliated. "e-excuse me." he said and before the teacher could respond yeonjun ran out of the room.
yeonjun went to the empty gym. he walked towards the rank of basketballs on the little table, picked a ball up and walked in front of the net. with a grunt he thew the ball hard into the air. the ball landed on the ground but yeonjun didn't care, he wasn't really aiming to make it into the basket anyway.
yeonjun grabbed another basketball and once again hurled it into the air letting out a little yell. but this time the ball hit the ground it landed in front of someone's feet.
hueningkais feet.
"what do you want?" yeonjun asked coldly while glaring at the popular boy.
"don't be like that yeonjunnie." kai said, then picked up the ball.
"don't call me that." yeonjun snapped at the boy. "how'd you know i was here?"
"i know that when you're upset you go here to throw something to get your frustration out cause you don't wanna damage anything." kai said and lightly chuckled.
"you're a real ass you know that." yeonjun said and walked over to the stands and sat down. "i know and i'm sorry." hueningkai said sitting down next to yeonjun.
"you always are." yeonjun said glancing at him then looked straight ahead again. "you know i have to be this way to you cause-"
"cause the school can't find out your gay i know." yeonjun said cutting him off. he's heard the same speech over and over again. yeonjun and kai have been secretly dating since last year. it happened when kai needed a math tutor and refused to have anyone tutor him but him.
when yeonjun was over at kai's house tutoring him he asked kai why he wanted him to tutor him in math when there was many kids who were smarter and would love to tutor him. kai confessed to yeonjun and said he liked him since the beginning of the school year but didn't wanna admit it cause he didn't want anyone finding out he was gay.
after that they started dating but kai said they had to date secretly cause, well i told you why in the first paragraph so. anyway he also told yeonjun he would have to start being extra mean to him cause then people would be suspicious. yeonjun didn't wanna be a toy or a secret. he wanted to be with someone who he could walk to class with, or go on dates with etc.
but instead of doing the right thing and saying no yeonjun smiled and said ok. and here we are a year later and yeonjun is still getting his heart broken because of his supposed boyfriend.
"will you please forgive me babe, i promise i'll come over to your house and we can have a movie night and everything." hueningkai said.
yeonjun opened his mouth to say hell no but when he did kai kissed him shutting him up. yeonjun loving the way kai's lips felt and tasted kissed back smiling. they pulled away from their kiss.
"so am i forgiven?" kai asked looking deeply into yeonjuns eyes.
yeonjun mesmerized by his boyfriend just slowly nodded yes. kai smiled happily and started kissing yeonjuns face making him giggle.
yeah no matter what kai did or said to him, yeonjun was just a sucker for the heartbreaker and heart stealer.
