Part 2- Help from a Brother...

Dream's pov

I walked to my brother Nightmare who was sitting at the apple tree (I forgot what the name of it was lol)wearing his usual light purple shirt, black pants, and purple boots, he straightened the crown on his head. But as I walked closer I noticed he was sitting next to a human I've never seen before... I stood in front of them.

"Oh, hello" I said. The girl looked up at me with her eyes covered by her hair.

"Um, hi" she said quietly, "I'm Shi, you must be Dream," (... Yes, I know I included myself in the story, I'm sorry)

"Yep I am, are you Nightmare's girlfriend?" (Don't judge me, ok? TwT) They both blushed and scooted away from each other.

"Uh, w-we're not dating, Dream..." Nightmare told me avoiding eye contact.

"Oh, sorry!" I apologized, "I just need your help, Nightmare. It's kind of personal..."

"I get the hint" Shi blurted. She walked away. To where, I don't know, she just left.

"What do you need help with, Dream?" Nightmare questioned.

"So do you know (y/n)?"

"Yeah?"

"Well, I kind of, maybe, like them...." Nightmare paused for a minute as if he's processing the information.

"So let me guess, you're asking me what you should do,". I nodded. "Just tell them, Dream, I'm sure they love you back," he suggested, "everyone loves you..."

"Well it's not that simple! I've tried but I can't make myself do it!"

"Just find a place to be alone and talked to her,".

"Are you sure that'll work?"

"Yep, you got this!"

"Ok, thanks Nightmare!" I called while I walked away.

"Everybody loves Dream..." Nightmare mumbled as he watched me walk away.

(y/n)'s pov

Dream came back to the village almost skipping. His aura was more positive than usual.

"Why are you so happy Gold boy?" I asked, using the name I use when I was tease him in a playful way. He didn't react to the nick name.

"I'll explain later, but tonight I want you to meet me in front of your house, I want to tell you something" he said with excitement in his voice.

"Ok?" I replied.

"Great!" he walked away. What does he want to tell me? Is it what I think it is? No it can't be, right?

Dream's pov (again)

I waited in front of (y/n)'s house. What's taking so long? Am I too early? Did they change their mind? Calm down Dream! Finally, I hear the door knob turn. I turned around and saw (y/n).

"Are you ready?" I asked.

"Yep..." they replied. I could tell they were nervous and a bit confused. I grabbed their hand and walked to the tree. Nightmare agreed to stay away from it for a while so I can talk to (y/n). I turned to them.

"So (y/n), there's something I've been meaning to get off of my chest..." I said looking at my feet.

"Yes?" (y/n) wondered.

"I-i like you, l-like a lot," I looked up at them, "I love you (y/n)..."

There was a moment of silence....
