Agent Powers picked up a twig and held it for a moment, then snapped it in half and threw it back on the ground. He looked up at the clearing surrounding him. Where there should have been uprooted trees was now a grassy meadow, as if there had been no trees here to begin with.

"This is impossible." Agent Trigger muttered next to him. "There's twigs and leaves everywhere, but it's as if there was never a single tree in the area."

Agent Powers stood from his kneeling position. "We have to interview the townsfolk, as soon as possible. One of them has to know something."

Meanwhile, at the Mystery Shack, Stanley and Stanford were staring at Allen with wide eyes.

"Hang on." Stanley said. "Say that again?"

Allen sighed. "Something happened to Dipper in the woods two days ago. He uprooted about fifty trees around him when he yelled. He was taken to the Mindscape to be questioned, but everyone realized who he was. He and Mabel are there, now, with the Cipers."

"And how would you know that?" Stanford muttered.

"Because I went undercover here for Bill. I'm the one who took Dipper into the Mindscape. I'm a dream demon, too."

The two men stared at him. "How do we know we can trust you?"

Suddenly, Will and Jill appeared at his side. "Okay, so we planted the false idea in the residents' head that there was always a grassy meadow in the forest, and we also cleaned up all the trees-" Jill stopped talking, looking up nervously at the two men in front of them. "Oh. Hello again."

"Are they safe?" Stanley begged. "Are Dipper and Mabel safe?"

The three dream demons looked at each other. "That depends." Will said. "Stanford, make sure no one knows about the portal. Especially the government agents that are roaming around. And both of you, keep up with the lie- there was always a grassy meadow in the forest."

There was a puff above their heads, and a card invitation appeared. Allen reached up and grabbed it, then gasped, handing it to Jill. "Read this."

Jill glanced at it, then quickly tossed it to Will, as if it was poisonous. "Will."

Will grabbed it and looked closely at it. He then handed it to Stanford, turning to the other two. He nodded, then they disappeared from sight.

"What's got them so worked up?" Stanley asked his brother. When he got no reply, he turned and saw Stanford staring at the card in his hands. "Sixer? What's wrong?"

Stanford looked up at his twin, handing the card over. "Read it for yourself."

Stanley did. He read it, and reread it, not believing what it said.

You are cordially invited to the wedding of William H. Cipher and Mason R. Pines held at Kamigamo Shrine in Kyoto, Japan

"Are you crazy?" Mabel screamed at her brother. "Right now? You're going to have a wedding right now?"

Mason shrugged, sketching in his sketchbook and not really paying attention. "Why not?"

"Uh, because it's dangerous? Two government agents are searching for you, and you're going to have a public wedding. What if they find out about this? They'll catch you if they do, and force you back here to get tested on."

"Uh-huh."

Mabel rolled her eyes. "And you don't even seem to care. Come on, Dipper, aren't you even a little bit worried?"

"Nope."

Mabel looked at the sketchbook warily. "You're not even paying attention. What are you drawing, anyway?" She reached over, snatching the book from him.

Mason's eyes went wide as he frantically tried to get the book back. "Mabel, no-"

Mabel held her twin back as she looked at the drawing he was working on. Her face softened as she smiled. "Dipper... is this what you want to wear?"

Mason blushed, relaxing. "It's... not weird?"

"No, of course not. It's actually beautiful. But... why wear a dress, of all things?"

Mason took the sketchbook back and looked at the drawing he had made. It was a white gown, with a long, loose, silk skirt that flared out and a two-foot train. The sleeves were off-the-shoulder and long, made of the same lace as the bodice. Instead of a veil, Mason had drawn a flower crown made of white, thornless roses and yellow marigolds. He had also drawn a pair of heels- short, white ones, with a thick, one-inch heel. There were small adornments or marigolds in the skirt and train.

Mason smiled to himself. "Just because it's a gay wedding doesn't mean we have to get rid of all traditional elements, right? You know Bill's not going to be the one wearing a dress. Why not me?" His smile fell as he set the sketchbook on his nightstand. "I know it's a bad time for a wedding, especially since I'm developing all of my powers. But it's either now, or five or more years from now. Neither Bill or I can wait that long. It's going to happen."

Mabel was silent for a moment before she sat next to her brother on the bed. "Can I make your dress?"

Mason looked up at her, shocked. "Really?"

"Of course! I'll make it as long as I'm your Maid of Honor."

Mason hugged her. "Of course you're my Maid of Honor." He pulled away, smiling. "Thank you, Mabel. For everything."

Mabel smiled back. "What are twins for?"
