The two government agents were tired. They had spent all day interviewing the townsfolk to no avail. No one could remember anything, and they all said the exact same thing- there was always a grassy meadow. The two agents were ready to call it a day, but there was one stop they had to make.
Agent Powers knocked on the door to the Mystery Shack, to no answer. He knocked again- silence.
"Are you wanting to talk to the Pines?" The agents turned to see a red-headed girl in a flannel shirt, jeans, and boots strap on a bike helmet and grab her bike. "You just missed them. Off to catch a plane to get to a wedding."
Agent Trigger's eyes widened. "A wedding? For who?"
"No clue, they wouldn't say. The Shack'll be closed for a couple days. Try coming back next week." She took off.
The agents looked at each other. "They know something." They said simultaneously.

"Is it really safe for them to have a wedding right now?" Stanford asked his twin as they walked through the busy airport.
"Definitely not, but they must know what they're doing."
The two were called up to the desk, and a woman smiled at them from her seat. "Passports, please." The twins showed her their passports, and she nodded. "Wait one moment." She picked up a nearby phone and entered a couple numbers. "Yes, I have the Pines twins here. Yep. Thank you!" She put the phone down. "Someone is on their way to get you two."
Stanley froze. "Are we in trouble?"
She laughed. "No, nothing like that! We were just given specific instructions if you two were to arrive."
A male stepped up to them. "Mr. and Mr. Pines. Sorry for the wait. Please, follow me to your correct terminal."
The three walked in silence, with the twins glancing at each other with worried expressions. The man led them down a few hallways, then to a private terminal that was blessedly empty, save for two females.
The man turned and smiled at them. "Enjoy your trip, sirs." He quickly left.
One of the women looked up at the two and quickly jumped to her feet, running to the two men. "Gruncle Stan! Gruncle Ford!" She embraced the two, who were surprised for a moment before hugging her back.
"Mabel!" Stanford exclaimed, pulling away. "Where have you been?"
"With the Ciphers! And Dipper! In the Mindscape! We were going to say goodbye, but things got a little heated and a little crazy really fast, and then it was too dangerous, and-"
The other woman laughed quietly, putting a hand on her shoulder. "Okay, Mabel, I think they get it." She looked up, nodding at the two. "Stanley. Stanford."
The two men nodded back. "Jill." Stanley said back to her.
Mabel sighed to herself. "This wedding is going to be absolutely gorgeous. We've all worked really hard the last few days to make it right. I think we did it."
"I thought they were going to wait a few more years to tie the knot." Stanley said.
Mabel and Jill glanced at each other. "Things came up." Jill said quickly. "It... put a few road blocks in the original plans."
Stanley and Stanford looked between the two, not buying it. "Alright..." Stanford said wearily."
A woman stepped through a nearby door. "The jet is waiting for you four, if you're ready to board."
Mabel smiled. "Come on, let's go!"
