Chapter 12

You started to ask a lot of questions from him. Then he started to speak.

"You know, as my father was doing some business work he told me that there is a girl Y/N and she is super talented so I asked where she works and he said in the Seoul branch. Then I gone to your parents to confirm is it you or not and they said it is you only. You know how happy they were to see me! " he spoke and his eyes were shining full of happiness.

" how sweet of you Tae " you said to him while smiling widely at him.

" Let's go to somewhere to eat , after that we will go to han river"
He was now dragging you towards the exit. When you heard a familiar voice call your name
"Y/N? Jungkook called you and you turned. You were very sorry that you didn't even told him that you were heading home. You kept a smile on your lips and said " kook I-i was heading home.

You uttered a way too much as if you were doing some crime, you didn't wanted to tell him that Taehyung was your childhood friend.

When Taehyung interrupted him.
" Hey Jungkook how is your work going? "he asked him as don't know a thing. You can clearly see the irritation on the face of jungkook, somewhere your heart ached to see him like that not telling a thing to him.

After all you tried to manage the awkward situation" I- I was heading home when Taehyung offered me to drop to my home " you uttered a little but managed to say it without getting into conclusions.

When you remembered that you actually said him 'Taehyung' instead of calling him in a formal way called 'Sir'.

" I mean sir, I am sorry sir I just-"

You were cutoff by jungkook's reply "It's ok Y/N good night and good night sir now I will head to my cabin" he said and excused himself and left.

What was the thing which pissed him off so much didn't he liked to see you and Taehyung together. When Taehyung sighed " uff thank god you managed the situation you know I don't like to tell anyone that I am your friend"

When you saw him with a disgusted face, that is he ashamed of you and you asked him. "Ya! Are you ashamed of me" you slightly hit his shoulder making him laugh "Nah! Listen I am your boss what if everyone will take me lightly i don't wanna drag personal things and office things together you know that's why I wanted to talk you after the working hours"

He ended his sentence and you smirked at him and said "when you became so smart" you said in a mocking manner and he pushed you a little from his shoulder telling you that he is from birth and you both broke into laughter.

His company was comfortable unlike you and jungkook when you both become tensed and awkward and you utter a lot while talking to him. Can never make a eye contact. Why tho?

You both headed towards the exit but your all attention was on Jungkook and his behaviour, even tho you wanna see him but you had no words to talk to him.

You didn't paid enough attention towards your surroundings you were just walking and walking when you heard Taehyung's voice calling your name and telling you to get inside the car.

When you asked him "Where we going?" you asked raising your brows.
Not yet knowing where he was going to take you. "Good question, I don't even know hehe let's go to some restaurant I am hungry" he said while opening the door of the car. You both got into the car.

When you actually remembered that you forgot your purse "Gosh aah I need to pick it up!!" you exclaimed. While Taehyung watched you in confusion "What you have to Pick up any friend of yours?" he asked. "No no i forgot my purse I will be back in a minute" you said it and got out of car while running towards your office. You were panting heavily because of running. You quickly got inside your cabin and picked your bag up.

You wanted to return as soon as possible because you known that Taehyung was waiting for you in the car. But you wanted to peek into Jungkook's cabin for once or to give him a proper bye which you didn't had chance to say. You headed towards his cabin, you peeked a little but was not able to see him so you just stumbled over the door and it flew opened. When all the jungkook' attention was on you. He ran to you. You can see that he was pretty surprised to see you here.

You were literally embarrassed by your own behavior that how you just got into his cabin without knocking. You just wanted to reverse the time. "I- I am so sorry I just wanted to bid you good night" you said while looking on the floor not daring to meet his eyes. He just was trying to control his laughter that how red your face was but he could not " Ahhahaha sorry i am really sorry Y/N and it's ok" these words escaped his lips and after they reached your ear you just felt more embarrassed.

He gave you a quick hug and you were happy that he is no longer pissed off. You saw his table was messed up with papers his computer was on, everything looked messy. "Ah I should have been working too it would be fun" you said forming your lips into a pout. "Nah that's OK I will handle" he said while looking at his table.

You remember that you kept Taehyung waiting in the car for you. So you said jungkook that you are heading home. And came out running from there.

Why i always get lost the track of time why?!!

You thought it to yourself and you reached the exit after all seeing Taehyung's car in the place. You got there and sat into the car expecting to see him. But he wasn't there. "Huh? Where he gone?" you got out of the car and your eyes quickly caught him, he was holding ice cream in both of his  hands. You waved to him.

He didn't waved you back because of course he was holding ice cream in both hands. "You took one eternity you know?" he commented. You lied to him not telling the truth that you gone to Jungkook. "Ah you know I forgot where I kept it so that's why a little late" you told him.

He extended his hand which held ice-cream to hand you the ice cream you took it and giggled seeing it. When you remembered you had a little cold but ignored it at the moment because you didn't wanted to ruin the happy face of Taehyung who was enjoying the reunion of you both.

" So let's finish this then we gonna eat" he said while letting you to take a bite from his ice cream and you done the same and you both giggled remembering your childhood memories that you both didn't changed a bit.
