"Annieeeee wake up"johnny shakes me.

"Fuck off"

"C'mon I've decided we're driving the 14 hours to Ohio today"

"I thought your dads birthday was tomorrow though"

"Yeah so we'll just leave the Tesla my cousin's and come back to get it in the morning" he says going into the bathroom.

I check the time on my phone to see that it's 8am. We would get to Ohio at around 10pm if the traffic isn't busy. I stand up and rub my eyes deciding that I'm not doing any of the driving today. I then get dressed and make sure I've got everything in my bag before brushing my teeth and hair.

"Right let's go" Johnny says after I come out of the bathroom.

"Can we go and get food?" I ask.

"Yeah we'll stop at Walmart to get snacks"I follow him out of the hotel and we both get into the car with him in the drivers seat.

14 hours later we arrive in johnny's hometown. We drive his cousin's where we tell his mom the plan then she offers to drive us to johnny's house since it's quite far away.

"Thanks couz" Johnny shuts the car door after we get to his house.

"Anytime john" she smiles and drives away.

"Are you ready to meet my parents?" He asks.

"No I'm nervous as fuck. This is weird, we're not even friends" I say as we walk up to the door.

"Sure we are. Friends with benefits" he winks.

We reach the door and he opens it then walks in. I follow him into the living room where his parents are sitting on the couch watching a movie.

"John what are you doing here?" His mom jumps up and hugs him.

"I came for dads birthday" he smiles then hugs his dad.

"And who's this?" She asks referring to me.

"This is Annie Leblanc" he puts his arm round me. "My girlfriend"
