chapter 2

Ivan walks into history class with Kaleb afraid. He saw Kaleb go to the Teacher hearing nonsense along the words as "this new student doesn't know or understand English. If your showing any videos can you out Russian captions. Also can you translate the paper work into Russian for him."
He still looked confused but was a bit happy knowing Kaleb was helping him. Kaleb sat down, Ivan followed him sitting down next to him. Kaleb pulls out his phone and puts into the Google translator "I'm gonna try and teach you english after school. Not all but some". He watched as the English showed Russian on the other side. He smiles and shows it to Ivan. Ivan smiles and nods.
Kaleb puts his phone on the desk and looks at the front of the history room. 
(Later)
They leave school, Kaleb calls his mom saying how he's staying after school to do homework. Knowing his mom is a republican and hates anyone coming from eastern europe, he knew he had to lie about this. Ivan grabs his phone texting to his dad "Я остаюсь после школы учить английский.  увидимся в 17:00, папа".

They both sit down at a picnic table, Kaleb pulls out a notebook and writes down the alphabet. He wrote down the pronunciation under it. "Okay Ivan. Wait shit." He pulls out his phone and says into the translator "This is the English alphabet. Below the letters are the pronunciation. I want you to practice the sounds. Or how you think it would sound."
Ivan took kaleb's phone and looked at the Russian side. He nods and looks at the paper. He says them all but 'W' and 'V' he had difficulties with. Kaleb smiled and pats Ivan's head, he writes down simple words such as hello and other greetings.
(Time skip)
Ivan looks at his phone and sees the time being 16:40. He jumps up "I-I leave!" He tried to pronounce in english. Kaleb knew what he meant and nods "bye Ivan" Ivan smiles and waves bye.
They both walk back home.

Kaleb walks into his home and sees his mom looking angry. "I saw you infront of the school with some kid. Who is he. And why was he pronouncing letters??" She says being the nosy bitch she is.
Kaleb sighs "he's a kid I became friends with. He's from another country and I'm teaching him English."
"What country?" She grumbles
"Why do you need to know. It's none of your business." Kaleb smirks knowing he got his mom pissed. He walks to him room and locks the door to stay away from his mom.

Ivan walks home and sees his dad on the couch with alcohol. He sighs upset knowing his dad was drunk. He went to his room and hid in his closet with his phone. He watches Russian movies as he soon fell asleep.
