More than a Summer Love?

"Wake up Olivia it's your big day today" my mom yelled.

"I'm already awake mom." I yelled back

Today is my big day and I'm excited but I could use a couple more hours of sleep. I'm exhausted it's 6 A.M. After what felt like 15 minutes I lift my lazy ass of my bed and head over to my bathroom next to my room. I brush my teeth and do my long blond hair.
I decided to do some loose curls. Honestly I'm not sure I wan't to leave London and my family. I'm always around my parents and my lovely little sister.
I'll miss them way too much but like my best friend Christine said this is for my own good this summer camp. She said I have to move on from my past and enjoy my life and chase my dreams which one of them is singing.
I hear the sound of birds chipping from across the room. I head over to my phone and pick it up and speaking of Christine it was her calling me.

"Rise and shine honey, are you excited for today our life changing day?" She said.

"Well if you put it that way no not really, I don't need change in my life after all I enjoy working at the café and I enjoy time with my family I won't get to do that this summer." I said with a sad tone.

"Olive I understand you I really do but you know this is for your own good and that you need to move on from your past. And besides I just know your going to love it this summer." She said.

"Yeah well I don't know we can still cancel the flight you know it's just getting the laptop." I said.

"Olivia no we're going that's for sure and don't forget the party dresses. Now byee see you in a bit." She said excitedly.

Well you see I'm not really into parties, it's not that I don't like to be around people or anything like that I'm just a bit shy that's all.
Oh shit It's almost 7 my flight is at 08:15 AM.
I head to the bathroom and put on some clothes. I decided to put some black high waisted jeans a white crop top and my black high top Vans. I decided to go with a natural make-up look. I headed downstairs finding my little sister crying on the couch.
Is she okay? I asked her. She didn't answer instead my mom answered.

"Honey she is just sad that you're leaving that's all." She said.

"Daisy I understand why you're sad but just so you know I'll miss you loads and we will facetime every night all of us. So don't worry I think of you all the time." I said to my sister.

She didn't say anything instead she nodded and hugged me goodbye.

I finish eating my breakfast and afterwards I head to the front door where Christine and her parents are waiting for me. I hugged my family one last time and checked if I had everything before heading out the door.
While I entered the car Christine's parents asked us if we were excited, we answered with a yes.

"Soooo are you really excited or did you just pretend?" Christine asked.

"No I'm excited I'm just nervous that's all." I said.

"I understand now get some sleep." She said.

The drive is like half an hour so I'm definitely getting some sleep.

"We arrived at the airport girls!" Her parents said.

We waved her parents goodbye and headed inside the airport.

"Olive you have no idea how excited I am this has been my dream since I was just a little girl!"

"Same I love singing and it would be waste not to do something with it. I'm just scared this summer won't turn out the way I planned it." I said.

"I understand but It will it will be the best summer you'll ever have." She said.

"I hope so but where is our gate?" I asked.

"It's C25 I checked a while ago let's go."

If I have to be honest I'm really excited even tho I didn't want to tell myself that because I don't like change or trying out new things I'm not as outgoing as Christine. While walking through the airport I'm scrolling through my Instagram feed when suddenly someone bumped forcefully into my shoulder which made me drop my phone.

"Watch out you asshole you made me drop my phone" I yelled at the boy.

"Did you see that Christine? What an ass made me drop my phone!" I said.

"Yeah I saw that I think we should like give him a good scratch as a payback don't you think?" She said sarcastically.

"Christine I'm not joking it actually hurt." I said

She sighed and continued walking. Don't get me wrong Christine is a great friend but she is just so sarcastic sometimes it gets to me. Oh well that's life. Our flight is being called so we went into the sleeve to get into the plane but when I looked up I saw a familiar face from earlier on, the guy who bumped into me, he's still an ass for that. Me and Christine get into our seats but before she puts her luggage above the seats. I struggled putting mine inside the cabins, the boy next to me saw me struggling and grabbed my suitcase and put in the cabin.

"Well thankyou, wait a second it's you you bumped into me and made me drop my phone. I take back my thankyou." I said irritated.

"Well I'm sorry I was in a rush." He said.

I sighed and sat down on my seat I put in my airpods but then I heard a low man voice say something to me. I turn to my left and see that boy again is he stalking me or some shit because his presence is starting to annoy me.

"So are you always this grumpy or is it just today?" He said with quite an ego.

"Well maybe you're the problem now leave me alone and let me sleep." I said before closing my eyes.

He turned around and left me alone. Thankgod he really was starting to annoy me. But I won't deny that look in his eyes damnn.
