Students from second to seventh year flooded the great hall, everyone moving to the tables of their respective houses. Daisy and her boys made their way to the Gryffindor table, they sat across from her, and made small talk until the new first years came in. Fred and George had made it a hobby to try to guess what houses they'd be sorted into based on absolutely nothing, Daisy still thought it was funny though.
"That's rubbish!!" They'd both shouted on multiple occasions when they got it wrong, McGonagall shot them looks every time, but they knew she wanted to laugh.
"They should've put you two idiots in Slytherin for all the havoc you wreck," Daisy laughed at them.
"But wouldn't you miss us so much?" Fred responded
"Who'd you hang out with?" George continued
"What'd you do without us?"
"Have to be friends with Hermoine I suppose."
"Maybe Oliver?"
"She'd put Oliver in his place."
"Oh would you two shut it already," Daisy rolled her eyes at them as the last of the first years got sorted. Nothing too interesting had happened at the sorting since Harry Potter, but she didn't think anything too interesting happened before him either.
"Now we're all settled in and sorted, I'd like to make an announcement. This castle will not only be your home this year but home to some very special guests as well. You see Hogwarts has been choosen..." Dumbeldore began, he was interrupted by Filch, probably muttering to him some nonsense, "So Hogwarts has been chosen to host a legendary event. The Tri-Wizard tournament. Now for those of you who do not know, the tri-wizard tournament brings together three schools for a series of magical contests. From each school a single contestant is selected to compete. Now let me be clear, if chosen you stand alone. And trust me when I say these contests are not for the faint hearted, but more of that later. For now please join me in welcoming the lovely ladies of the Beauxbatons' Academy of Magic and their headmistress Madam Maxime."
With that, a group of beautiful girls danced through the center of the great hall. All in pristine blue uniforms and pointy hats, each of them looking identical and seemingly perfect. The only thing odd about the whole affair was the large woman who was with them. She was tall, and thin. Although she looked as if she was made to stand out, she walked with the same elegance and prestige as the rest of the girls, a proud smile on her face.
Fred and George seemed a bit too excited to see the girls there, Daisy could've sworn that one of the girls had winked at the boys.
"Oh have some respect, you idiots," Daisy shoved the boy's shoulders, and they were shook out of their trance.
"Not our fault girls here don't look like that," Fred chuckled, seemingly waiting for a response from George.
"Don't look at me Freddie, Hogwarts isn't doing too bad from my point of view," George blushed, and gave Daisy a soft smile.
"And now our friends from the north, please greet the proud sons of Durmstrang and the high master Igor Karkaroff."
Daisy had thought the entrance made by the girls was impressive, but it wasn't very interesting compared to what Drumstrang did. They were dancing with staffs, creating sparks as they walked, a few even breathed fire. One boy led the group alongside their High Master, he showed no emotion and looked straight ahead, but Daisy saw all the girls swooning, and she had to admit she was as well.
"Blimey, it's him, Victor Krum!" She heard Ron say from a few seats down, Daisy nearly spit out her water.
"That's Victor Krum? The quidditch guy you guys were obsessing over?" Fred laughed at her surprise, George looked a bit hurt.
