"I hate him. "
My hand lingered on the doorknob.
" He's a monster."
I heard her bursting into tears.
"I can't... I... can't..."
And his soothing voice that was consoling her ." Shhh... I know... I know."

A ghost of a smirk appeared on my lips, Ah how they had forgotten to invite the talented actor to join their show.
As I opened the door I caught the perfect view of a weeping Melina in the embrace that wasn't mine.

"Did I miss something?"

Hearing my voice they both abruptly turned to me with horrified eyes.
Melina was trembling as fright took over her frame.
Steve loosened the hold as he turned to Melina trying vainly to sound collected.
"You can go to your room, I tell Neil to bring your dinner."

I was amazed at how she was helplessly nodding her head.
Such an erotic beauty made for my thirsty eyes.
" My beloved brother and my beautiful wife, I don't want to disturb your lovely conversation. Where were we? Ah ... yeah, you were comforting her. I'm thinking of ... hmmm... What about a comforting kiss?"

"Melina leave." Steve said seeing the flames ignited deep in my eyes.
Melina was so terrified to realize what Steve demanded. She looked confused like a little white rabbit. An intense feeling was building within me.

"Leave.NOW." Steve shouted.

Melina jumped and automatically took off towards the door with her shaky legs.
My scared prey always loved to be chased.
I was about to follow after her when strong arms caged me from behind.

Feeling the warmth of his shallow breath on my skin I remained still. His hands were warily roaming over my torso, imitating the past trick of him to pacify my inner storm. He shivered feeling the raging beats of my heart and backed away.

I turned to meet his hazel eyes.
" You made a great mistake."
I uttered calmly.

Biting his plump lips nervously, his eyes were
desperately flickering between my eyes and my lips.
He reached to take my hand but missed the touch as I slapped him in the face.
He unconsciously closed his eyes , a mild redness slowly crept on his cheek.
Glaring at me I noticed his eyes glinted with unknown sparks that instantly faded away.

" One more time and I'll kill you."

I sat on the sofa and glanced over at him who was pointlessly struggling not to break apart in front of me.
Sensing my gaze he looked back at me.
A delicate redness already formed on his cheek.
My lip playfully tugged up as he came towards me and kneeled in front of me. Wrapping his arms around my legs he placed his head on my lap.
"I... I won't..."
He muffled as I saw a tear slipped down his face.

Feeling my touch he tensed a bit but closed his eyes while I was gently touching his face.
He leaned into my touch and drowned in sheer bliss to feel my fingers playing with his soft brown hair.

" Why don't you let her go?"
He blurted out breaking the silence.
"I can't."
He inhaled deeply. " Why ?"
"She's my wife. She's mine."
I responded in disinterest.
His hands snaked up to caress softly my thighs. " But you can find someone else to be yours."
He paused.
" Even better than her."

I chuckled as I detected the usual vulnerability in his deep voice.
" Who will be better than my angel?"
He lifted his head at my saying and locked his pleading gaze with mine.
"Can't you see?"

My smirk fell off my lips as I studied his hazel orbs agonizingly reflecting the old desire.
My mind was engulfed with long-forgotten memories as we were kids, running down the hill and Steve showed me his secret place near the lake where he hid mother's gold necklace and father spanked me hard because he thought I had stolen it.

I felt a rushing pain stirred my heart and swirled painfully in my chest as I remembered the day I found my broken violin in his hiding place, all his doings just to make me play with him everyday.
" Of course I see."

I smiled at him cupping his beautiful face in my hand." I forgot to tell you something. I have an exciting surprise for you ."
His eyes elated in sudden delight.
" Steve... my Steve...I decided about your marriage. You will marry Laila. "
"What?"

He burst in utmost shock.
" You heard me. You will marry Laila."
His eyes widened in stark disbelief as he held my hands with his trembling ones.
"You... you can't be serious. I can't marry... can't marry her."

"You will dear brother," I said menacingly.
He shook his head in disagreement as tears were trickling down his face.
" If you don't, then I will."
" No ... No ... you can't ."
He whined and placed my palm on his wet cheek.

" You know I can."
"But... M Melina?" He stuttered.
"Don't worry brother. I have everything under control. Everyone thinks Melina died the day she left Germany. There's no sign of her still being alive. That bitch friend of her was weeping over an empty grave. And I can't be married to a dead one, can I ?"

He gasped loudly as my bitter words sank in his mind.
I pulled my hand out of his grasp and stood. " I know you don't want Laila's torn body to burn into ashes. I miss the smell of burnt flesh. It's been a while brother. "

I chuckled as he made a puking sound. "Oh, my poor brother. You will fucking marry her. I won't say it again ."
I got out of the room leaving that pathetic crying mess alone.

"Neil ?" I shouted.
"Yes sir." He immediately rushed to the hall.
"Set the table in my bedroom. Tonight I'll have dinner with my wife."
