The sun was warm but not hot, no wind and a few oak trees covered some of the space where I lay. My fingers ran down the soft grass with one hand, in the other I was holding my favourite book. Hair spread out behind me and spotlights of sun across my face. My hand drifted away from the grass and towards a small basket next to me, I plucked a grape from the twig and poped it in my mouth. Underneath me I felt the soft silky blanket protect me from dirt and soil. I let my book rest against me, and sighed as I closed my eyes.

Smoke rose from the barbecue and sausages sizzled with fire. Smiles filled the area with people splashing and playing in the pool, and others nibbling at cheese platters. In the far corner of the campground a bonfire had just been lit and was creating a scene. Everyone gathered around with warm hearts and watched sparks fly.

Pretty lights slowly started turning on as the sun went down. The water was perfectly still and crystal clear, as I sat on the dock I eagerly waited for my food. Lots of bikes cycled past the dock and the restaurant turned a orange pink colour as it got darker. Finally my food arrived. I brought a piece of pasta to my mouth a tried it. My eyes widened as the creamy carbonara pasta melted in my mouth and the herbs added immaculate flavour to the dish. I once again smiled as the sun disappeared over the horizon.
