Chapter 4: A Pleasant Outing

A troubled look was given after noticing Aristia's paled complex. Keiran has expected his daughter to rest for a few more days though he stopped his worried mind and told Duke Rass to continue the conversation another time. The Duke agreed and informed him to meet at his office while Tia tried to persuade her father but failed as Keiran notified a maid to send word for a carriage. 

After reaching the returned destination, with a hopeless attempt of carrying out her duties as the queen, she amused herself for the time being since her schedule was empty. Overwhelmed with boredom, noon came with lunch though Aristia declined and chose a light meal instead to avoid a decreasing health. When Lina returned from doing other chores, she advised her choice of dining then within a short moment, a tray filled with colorful foods entered the bedroom. Once the tray was laid on the table, with a poured cup of tea that reflected a rosy pink hue, Tia slowly touched the tea cup with elegance and took a small sip then placed the cup back on the table.

Yes, my lady?

Would it be possible if I visit a nearby town tomorrow?

It's possible with your current state of health....but your complexion seems to have gotten worse after your visit to the palace so it might be best to rest indoors.

Hmm...I would rather go outdoors rather than be idle with an empty schedule.

My lady, are you sure your health can withstand an outing?

Yes, I'll put faith in my health and enjoy my trip to the town.

Then I'll prepare casual clothing and whom will accompany your trip?

A guard will attract attention.....Lina would you like to accompanying me?

?! Y-yes! It'll be my pleasure!

With the confirmation of tomorrow's plans, the bright spring day became a night sky filled with bright stars and left Aristia to fantasize shopping for a quantity of dresses and enjoying a walk through a variety of stores, displaying foreign goods and jewelry.

While attempting to read documents and consume myself with reading books in the library, nothing seems to entertain me much. Once the tray was laid flat, my sole interest was the tea and reminded me of a full-bloomed rose after taking a glimpse and realized I haven't been able to have a free schedule with my position. The self-identity of Aristia La Monique has a younger appearance and different living status which also hints to me the possibilities of the universe reversing time for an unknown purpose. This lifestyle is acceptable compared to my previous that was filled with paperwork and barely resting until nightfall. Since I'm in the process of uncovering the truth of this life, I'll enjoy it before God decides to make some changes.

The next day came as Aristia started with a daily routine of breakfast and later getting prepared for the outing. Both wearing casual clothes, walked out towards the carriage to reach the neighboring town and without a minute to spare, a pair of golden eyes glistened with amazement yet holding a straight face while viewing the scenery. 

Hopefully this trip to the town will be a nice experience, since this is probably my first act of exploring a town, seeing how citizens act, talk, things couples do.....I'll appreciate the window view while heading to- Such a beautiful scenery with lively people and happiness seen everywhere.....what kind of life would I've if I were a citizen?

We reached the central part of the town, why don't we take a look around the nearby shops?

Yes, that'll be great to stop here and look around the various shops.
