Bakugou pushed his "friends" off of him and began to run after Deku. "IZUKU PLEASE" Bakugou shouted. "LEAVE ME ALONE KACCHAN...please" Deku began to cry as he ran. Bakugou eventually caught up to Deku, since he can't do major physical activities. Bakugou grabbed his wrist, they were both out of breath, but Deku kept trying to get his wrist loose from Bakugou's grasp. "I g-got you D-Deku" Bakugou only got a few words out before he could catch his breath. Also, still out of breath, Deku looks at Bakugou "K-Kacchan...p-please let m-me go!" Bakugou couldn't think of anything to say, so he just hugged Deku.
Deku's eyes widened and he just froze. "What am I supposed to do? Kacchan hasn't hugged me since we were really young. How do I handle this? He's kinda warm...I'm not sure what I should do. What if I do something wrong? Will he hurt me?..." These thoughts clouded Deku's mind, not even realizing Bakugou trying to get his attention. Well, until Bakugou yelled in his ear. "IZUKU" Deku immediately snapped out of it and jumped "AH- oh! S-sorry Kacchan!" Bakugou chuckled and spoke softly, "I'm sorry.. I know I said that at the hospital, but you still seem to be scared of me.." Looking at Bakugou, Deku finally remembered everything from that day at the hospital. "Kacchan.. I'm not scared of you. I just forgot about that. I'm sorry.. if you want, maybe we can be friends again?" Bakugou smiled so bright at Deku's statement. "T- thank you Izuku! I would love that!" Deku smiled at him reassuringly "Deku.. you can call me Deku as long as the meaning behind it changes" Bakugou just looked at him "alright. Then now it means someone who can do anything.. even be a hero" Deku's eyes lit up as they both hugged again
Familiar voices could be heard. "EWWW!! Is that Kaachan and the nerd who jumped?!" The ones who used to Bakugou's friends laughed. Bakugou let go of Deku, now glaring intensely at the three bullies, spoke harshly "his name is Midoriya Izuku or Deku, which means he can do anything. Now back off before I blow your asses into next week!" He bagan making sparks from his hands as the three ran off in fear, knowing Bakugou wasn't joking. Deku and Bakugou hugged once more before going to class.
