A deep voice belonging to an adult lion spoke. "Black and red clouds continued to swirl as I jumped up and struck Shard- My father- back into-"  another voice chimed in.
"Kazi, Love, when they ask you to tell them a story, you've got to start from the beginning. Rewind it a bit so they can understand!"

Kazi groaned, he didn't like being told how to tell his stories. "Okay, Bella. I'll start from the beginning. Let's rewind just a bit to-" Kazi pointed to a wall painting of them searching for the tablets, and running into their old friend, King Zafu from Sunpride (@kayahtlk).

"Nope." Bella stood infront of him. "'Nope'? What do you mean, 'nope'?" Bella sighed then pulled him by his ear to a cave painting on the side of another wall. "I mean, you've gotta start from the beginning." Kazi nodded. "You're absolutely right, love. That's exactly what I need to do." He pointed to the painting. The first painting of him ever done on these cave walls, at least. "Ok, I'll start from the beginning. Doesn't mean I'll like it." "Wouldn't expect you to."

Kazi groaned then turned back to the painting. "Okay, so as most of you know, I was born on this planet like any other cub. I could breathe air, I could bleed blood, and I had siblings to play with. Okay- soooo, the last part may not actually apply to everyone, but whatever, continuing on-

I had a mother. She shined like the sun, and was as beautiful as a fresh sunflower's promise. I had a father too, he was dark and gruesome. I didn't like him that much. He gave me a feeling that I couldn't describe. I was an infant, so how could I describe it anyway? It was a feeling I wanted to smother like an ember on dry grass.

This was the day I was born. It was a nice day, too. The sun was shining in the Crystal blue sky. I was happy. Why was I happy? I didn't sense a good feeling from the male lion hovering over us. He growled. I still smiled. I guess I was always the positive one, but then again, what do I know? I haven't suffered like my siblings have, but that's a story for another day. After all, I am King Kazi of Mountain Pride, and this is my story."
