Gemone P.O.V.
I felt the leaves fall around me; the emerald shining off of them as if it had just rained. I picked one up and it turned crimson. Not from me though. If it were I, it would have turned purple. A flash of red reflected off of my deep purple shirt. I peeked through the leaves as a boy with blond hair laughed. His pants were a deep navy blue and shirt was bright red, symbolizing his team, I suspected. He had sneakers that were crimson red with streaks of light blue through them. "The reflection," I thought. "Maybe it was the sneakers?" Then I looked at the Pokemon he was playing around with. "A torchic, Wow, this trainer is good."
"Torch." He laughed. The chicken like torchic chirped in delight. I tried to get a better look by moving my leg. Suddenly I heard a SNAP. "Dam," I thought. "Must've been a twig." The boy looked around franticly and stood up in panic.
"Who's there?" He said in a shaky voice.
I stood up and his torchic looked at me, Fire in his eyes.
"It's ok little torchic, I wont hurt you or your trainer." I said. The torchic looked uncertainly at me.
"What do you want?" He asked sharply
" I was wondering through the woods," I said. "It's what I do to calm down." He looked at me uncertainly.
"Well, you see," I stepped into the clearing. " My dad, he talked to the head of this area..."
"Really?" The boy's eyes widened.
"Yup," I said sitting down. "You see, Mr. Reno wants to form a team of teenagers too go defeat the Queen."
"Really?" The boy asked as he petted the torchic's head and the torchic sat down in between us.
"I'm guessing your talent is fire." I said with a smile.
"Yeah," He said getting up. "You want to see my team?" I nodded, stood up and the torchic jumped up and down.
"First of all," he smiled looking down at the torchic. "This is Torch."
I knelt down to the torchic's height.
"Hello Torch." I smiled. Torch chirped in delight. The boy reached his belt and pulled out a scarlet pokeball off of his belt. Opened it and a fire beast came out. I backed up nervously.
"It's ok, Eternal doesn't bite unless you attack first." He said. Then the beast went back in the pokeball and he took out a turquoise one.
"Please don't laugh at this." He said embarrassed. "I have had the reputation of tough guy." He said pushing his glasses up on his face. He opened the pokeball and a blue bunny came out.
"Awe, that's adorable!" I smiled. The bunny walked over and hugged me and squeaked
"Alana says thank you, her feelings are easily hurt and hates when she's made fun of." The boy says.
"Know what, I was made fun of at my school too. Everyone thought it was funny that I was an electric trainer because they were all Grass trainers." I said. "But you can't let them take advantage of you. Cause I bet you're stronger than most people know."
"Awe, thanks." He said, "That's really sweet." Alana squeaked in agreement. I smiled.
"If it's up to me." I said. "You would be on the team ummmm..."
"Thames." The boy said.
"Thames, nice to meet you." I walked over to him. "I'm Gemone."
