Dream POV:
We made our way up the stairs and into Nick's room. I threw my bag on the floor and I turned my head to look around a bit. Woah, Nick's room is actually pretty cool. The walls are painted light grey, he's got a full sized bed full of pillows with an orange comforter, all kinds of different posters on the walls, and a pretty sick gaming setup. Other than those things, his room has all the normal necessities, dresser, nightstand, closet, etc..

"So Clay," Nick said, getting my attention. "whatcha wanna do? It's getting dark so we can't go outside, but other than that it's free rein." He said, smirking. I laughed.

"Well I think I'm gonna start by changing into my pajamas, I'm sick of wearing these jeans. Where's your bathroom?" I asked.

"Umm, it's the second door to your left down the hallway. The door should be open already." He pointed out the door towards the direction of the bathroom.

"Thanks." I smiled at him and left his room. I can't believe I'm even over here in the first place. If only my dad actually cared about me as a person, then I probably wouldn't be in this situation. He's practically engrained it into my brain that the whole soulmate thing with the compass is fake. As much as I'm scared of him, I don't actually think that's true. I can just feel it.

When I came back in the room I noticed Nick sitting at his desk chair. He turned as soon as he heard me come in.

"Jeez Clay!" Nick exaggerated. "Took you long enough! What did you do in there that took so long? Oh wait- I probably shouldn't be asking that." He laughed and turned his head back to his computer. I just rolled my eyes.

"Yeah, cause three minutes is s u c h a long time." I said, my voice dripping with sarcasm.
"Whatever. What are we playing?" I asked.

"Well I wanted to see if George was on, maybe we could play Minecraft." He suggested. That actually was a pretty good idea! I haven't spoken to George in a few days, this should be fun. "Sounds good to me! Do you have a laptop or something I could use?" I asked.

"Yeah, it's on my nightstand. Bring it over here and I'll put in the password.

A few minutes later and we have everything set up. I'm on Nick's bed with his laptop and some headphones, and Nick is at his desk with his normal setup and some earbuds. Now all we've gotta do is see what George is up to.
