Trust me (Bakugo x female reader)

"You ready?"

I looked at shoto. His blue and grey eyes glistening in the sun.
The same eyes that looked at me as our father would scold us for playing rather than training as we were younger and give a sense of 'dont let him scare you im right here, i'll protect you' but something else scary is infront of us. The UA highschool.

"Yeah, I am"

When Shoto usually talks his voice was monotone, but when talking to me I felt he cared a bit more and tried to talk like something other than a robot with trauma.

"Remember what we're here for"

He must have caught me zoning out. We were here for one purpose and that was to become heros and surpass All Might.

"Yeah Shoto, I remember"

I took the lead and stepped into the school, Shoto following behind.
We find a door with the words
1-A
Here we are, this is where we'll be for the next year
We see a green haired boy at the entrance. He seems to notice us and turns around

"Oh an I in your way? I'm Izuku Midoriya by the way nice to meet you, who are you two? You look similar" He put his hand out for us to shake it. I didn't like touching other people so I hinted at Shoto to do it, luckily he had my back.
Shoto finally spoke up

"Hello, Izuku Midoriya, that isn't information you need to know at this point" He said in his monotone voice, his glaring eyes staring into the soul of Izukus.
Shoto steps in class and I follow after. There were only a few seats left when we stepped in class. He took the only one in the far back and I took the last spot which was behind a boy with blode spiky hair. I remembered him from the entrance exam.
Katsuki Bakugo I belive his name was
The boy turned around.

"Who are you?"

"Thats information you don't need to know for now, Bakugo"
I don't say it in a low monotone voice like Shoto would. Shoto would always say I talked with attitude thats what made out father angry.

"Who are you talking to like that? And how do you know my name?" He seemed mad

A hothead?

They're always so fun to tease

"I'm talking to you Katsuki Bakugo, did you forget you took an entrance exam?"

"Oh shut up I'll blow you up" the boy raised his hands

"And I'll blow you up" I let a little purple flame escape from my finger, not big enough to catch anything on fire but big enough for him to see the flame.

"Ah so you're that bastards Endeavors kid, I'm guessing that dude over there is your brother?" He points to Shoto  "You both have burns" He gives a smug smiles and turns to the front when the teacher came in.

My mark was on my wrist leading up my arm. I wore long sleeve shirts so how could he know?
The burn was from father scolding me. That day I fought back but he quickly put me in my place by sending a flame up my arm. Shoto was the only one that cared and took care of me like I took care of his burn when mom had poured boiling water on him.

"Y/n Todoroki, are you paying attention?" He called me out, I guess he knew I was zoning out

"N-no sorry sir"

The teacher continued, "As I was saying, get into your gym uniforms and go outside, I will be explaining what we're doing out there"

I got up from my seat and did exactly what I was told and stepped outside, we were still waiting for a few more people, once everyone was outside. Aizawa sensei started to explain.

"Lets get straight to the point, we will be doing a Quirk Apprehension test"

"But what about the things the rest of the school are doing?" A girl with brown hair shouted out.
Geez she sounded annoying, obviously teachers run thier classes how ever they want in U.A, who doesn't know that?

"Teachers are here to teach, so, we teach how ever we think is fit for you" Aizawa sensei replied.
Aizawa seemed like a man that wouldn't take shi- crap from anyone, and I like that. He seems like a great teacher.

"First we will be doing a race, use your quirks to however you like, don't hold back, I want to see your full strength. Fail all of these tests and I won't hesitate to expell you"

Aizawa wasn't lying, he expelled many students in his past years of teaching.

We all line up at the starting line, Aizawa held a gun and shot it signaling our start. Shoto had a lead first using his ice to slide. Bakugo used his explosions to is advantage and flew up in the hair blasting explosion after explosion.
I was told I was a fast runner but not fast than Iida, he ran with his moter legs, faster than a motorcycle.

At first I started running, I threw a couple of flames behind me to slow people down a little bit.

I cant really use fire for running except throw people off or slow them down, so that exactly what I did.

I caught up to Shoto and Bakugo. Shoto was annoying me with his ice so I kept my flames infront of him, melting each part of ice he makes, he eventually gives up and starts running by foot.
Now I'm infront of him.
By slowing Shoto down, Bakugo naturally got infront. I used my fire on him aswell.

Throwing fire balls in his way for him to dodge until it was too much for him he slowed down.

After a bit of running and being attacked by bakugo and Shoto trying to get ahead there was a mine field.

The mines where easy to get by. I did the same as Bakugo and boosted myself up with my fire. It was a complicated, multi-step thing I was still practicing on.

I was able to clear the mines with no problems, practice is paying off. Right behind me was Shoto and Bakugo.
We ran a few more minutes, I was close to the finish line but I hear yelling behind me.
I turn around to see the same green haired kid from before.

Why didn't he just use his quirk?

He was flying in the air on a peice of metal

I threw flames at the boy causing him to crash, I soon came in first place, Shoto came after me, and Bakugo after him. The boy ended up in last place after his plan had failed.

Shoto came up to me and put his hand on my head "Good job y/n"

I leave it on. I was touch deprived from not getting any love as I grew up, so Shoto congratulating me and touching me ment the world "Thanks Shoto, you did a good job too"

He walked off back into the group. Bakugo came up and started yelling

"I WAS GOING TO BE IN FIRST PLACE IF IT WASNT FOR YOU"

"woah woah calm down toddler, first of all, no you wouldn't. Even if I had gone Shoto would have gotten infront of you. And don't have a temper tantrum like a toddler please its the first say of school-"

I was stopped by him walking past meand bumping into me, making me stumble. I remembered father walking past me and not caring if he bumps into me or not and would look down onto me in pity.

I zoned out again.

Someone called my name, I dont remember who but I heard fathers voice and it made me jump.
Was soon snapped back into reality when Shotos cold hand was on my shoulder. He leaned in and whispered in my ear

"Is it happening again or are you ok?"
