Am I Suppose to Apologize

Five drank his coffee and got up to leave. He wanted to try and find that girl. He didn't need her he just wanted to know how many more of them were out there. After the Lila incident back in the 60s, and the discovery of the parallel universe he had created with his siblings that resulted in the invention of the Sparrow Academy, who were probably going to come and find them, He knew their were more but the real question was how many more. So the second he got up and marched out the door of the coffee shop, to look for any clues as to where the girl would have gone.

Back where Lili was, she had ran to her warehouse, hoping that boy didn't follow her. She opened the huge grey door that held the contents of her hide. She flipped the light switch on and her room light up, showing her string lights hung up on the balcony in the warehouse that showed her bed. Life wasn't hard, it was just her mom that made it that way. She took off her Jade green school jacket and placed it on the couch over on the first floor which connected to kitchen and a dining room. Lili had found this place and turned it into a second home. Her own secret place of escape.

" Shit," she thought "he might have seen my jacket. He might come to my school to get me. He might tell the press. Then the press at my school will find out, then my parents will find out and shit; I'll expose my entire family." Something no one knew about Lili's parents was that they were born on October 1st 1989. That was how they met each other, and why they immediately got along, but that wasn't the secret the secret was that her parents had super powers. Weird ones too. They passed the gene down to her and her twin brother.

"Liam I am sick and tired of being jumped by the press, maybe if we just showed them are abilities they might leave us alone." She remembered the conversation she had with her brother just the day before.

" Uh, Lili do you not know that if we have super powers that are told to the public, The press will just ask us to show them around, and then people will ask us to help them and will just become slaves to the world." The funny thing about Liam was that him and Lili didn't really look alike. Lili had dark brown hair, hazel eyes, light freckles that dusted across her button nose, full lips shaped into a cupid bow, tan skin, and was super athletic and smart. While her brother had blonde hair , blue eyes, small lips, no freckles, pale, a straight nose, and didn't like sports or school and was scared of everything, where as Lili wasn't scared of anything. It just didn't seem like they were siblings, but they were.

As she finished pondering upon her memory, she got up off her couch that she plopped a seat onto. She had started to finish up her home work when she hears a knock on the warehouse door. She slowly got up and headed towards it. She was about to prepare herself for an attack or a hostage situation. She started to reach down to pull the warehouse door up.

" Hey, sweetheart. You in their." Her dad said he sounded, not disappointed but sad.

"Dad" She said and lifted up the door." How do you know about this place."

"Well, where else would you go at 1:00 to 10:00 at night. Also Liam told me." He walked in and she slammed the door down behind him. He looked around and noticed her bed. He pointed up and smiled when he turned to look at her. She made a quick little smile and directed him to the couch.

"So, I see you have your own life in here."

" Yea, where else would I go when mom's being a bitch."

" I don't know maybe home, to apologize to your bitch of a mom."

" Dad I-"

"Look I'm not here to fuss at you, or fight. You've had enough of that today. So if you'll listen I want to talk."

" Fine, let's talk" Lili said plopping down onto her couch in front of her dad.

" Well, you are getting more independent and you obviously know how to take care of yourself, and what i worrying me and your mother is that one day you won't need us anymore. And that shit is scary as hell, losing your kid. No parent wants to imagine that. So please forgive your mother, tell her your sorry, just do whatever it takes to come home."

" I don't plan stay away from you, but i do plan to stay away from mother. If you want me to come home then, she can apologize." She didn't understand why her dad was asking her to apologize, and she just got up opened the wide door and gestured for him to walk out. Her dad got up and slowly walked to the door.

" Don't do this. Don't push me away."

"I'm sorry, but that is exactly what I'm going to do." She looked down and continued to gesture her dad out the door. He walked out the door and turned around,

"goodbye dad." And with that she slammed the door down and went up to her cot on the second floor and laid on her bed.

" Oh, you cruel world please just give me a break." After that she went to bed and didn't worry about the guy from the coffee shop, nor did she worry about her mom, she just took a moment to calm down and take care of herself.

Ok, so I know this story is starting to not be about the Umbrella Academy and more so about the OCs that I made up but I just want you all to know this character like you know all the others. I want to give this story the attention to detail that it needs.
