~one month later~ (Zelda knows some spells now! Sorry for the time skip bur I'm trying to make only a small amount of chapters as possible. I ain't doing 100 parts!)
Zelda and Luz have been away from the human word for some time now. "Guys don't you want to go back home?" Said Eda (omg this just makes her sound like she wants to kick them out that bad 😂)
"I guess but I don't wanna leave you Eda. You're my friend and I want to stay with you. Even if it means...never going back home." Luz started to tear up.
"Aww kiddo don't worry about me. you can come visit anytime! It's not like I can go anywhere anyways since I'm..you know, wanted.."
"I actually like it here! I don't really want to go back!" Said Zelda (gee I wonder why 🙄)
"You have to promise to visit us! Please Eda?!"
"Alright! Alright! But if I end up stealing something don't even bother stopping me"
"Haha oook Edalyn"
"Eda I need to tell you something-" then Zelda was interrupted by the sound of knocking at the door.
"Hold on Zelda let me get the door"
"Um Eda, it's Lilith"
"Ugh not again"
"I know you're in there Edalyn, I won't stop until you join the emperor's coven!"
"shortly. Hi, you've reached the voicemail of Edalyn Clawthorne The Owl Lady. I am afraid I cannot answer you at this very moment. I am busy being the baddie that I am and simply cannot deal with your nonsense. Please leave your name, number and a brief message after the tone and I cannot promise you that I will get back to you soon, or ever for that matter!"
"Luz did you just-" Zelda said all confused
"Yes I made a Eda voicemail. No need to say it, I know I'm amazing."
"Edalyn!!!"
"Sheesh and I thought Eda was the crazy one-"
"Hey!" Actually I take that back i am crazy!"
"I'm coming I'm Eda!"
"Go away Lilith! How many times do I have to say it? I am not joining!"
"Should I play the voicemail-"
"NO WE ARE NOT DOING THE VOICEMAIL THING AGAIN!"
"Awww! Well fine I'm doing a Eda x Zelda one!"
"Luz no!" they both said at the same time.
"Are you guys done with your shenanigans yet?!"
"Oh hush Lilith! At least I'm smart enough to not join a coven, covens are for children!"
"Eda the emperor just wants to help you! He can help us get rid of your curse!"
"He won't help me Lilith! Nothing can!"
"Hey! I'm trying to sleep!" King said rubbing his eyes "who dares disrupt the King of Demon's beauty sleep?!"
"King not now! We're having some...sister drama."
"With this is turning into a normal thing now. I'm getting a snack, want any Zelda?"
"Sure, but uuuh..now is not the time."
"It's always the right time! I'll get popcorn!"
"Wait for me King!" Luz went running like crazy!
Lilith comes barging in "Eda I am done with your childish games! You will join the coven weather you like it or not! I'm doing this for you..for you're curse.."
"As much as I appreciate your help Lilith, I'm still not joining even if you ask me over and over..I won't accept."
All of a sudden she bursts into tears "WHY CANT YOU JUST JOIN? IM GLAD I CURSED YOU-" she then covers her mouth, regretting and wishing to take it back.
"Wait you...YOU CURSED ME?!"
"Yes...but I promise you that I want to get rid of it for good! I never thought that it would last this long! I only cursed you so I can have the upper hand in our duel...you know, when we were kids.."
"So you cursed me because of some duel that happened years ago?!" I was never going to fight you!
"Wait what?! I-i didn't know I'm sorry! I was going to get rid of it afterwards!"
"But you didn't.....get out, I don't want to see you ever again.."
"Eda please I-"
"I SAID LEAVE!!!" Eda was about to turn into her owl form.
"Eda!" King ran over to her all scared"
"Quick we need the elixir! Zelda do you know were it is?!"
"I'm on it Luz!" Zelda ran and tried to find it as quickly as possible.
"Here Eda! Quick!" Then Eda drinks the elixir and turns back into her normal self.
"Thanks Zelda"
"Eda are you ok-?"
"I just told you to leave Lilith! Get out of my sight!"
"...whatever you say Eda..." And out the door she goes. Damn the family drama is real! So better get up and make your tea. 🤭 🍵
"Eda..before all this happens I was going to tell you something.."
"Oh yeah, um sorry Zelda right now I just need some time alone..."
"Oh uh..ok..."
"I promise I will listen to whatever you have to say but right now I just really need to be alone"
"O-ok"
