it's the time of the year where sunwoo decides on regretting his life descisions and his life ifself.

why is he showing this behaviour you may ask?

simple.

because the windows weren't closed. the windows weren't closed.

he'll be dead for this, and the person beside him will join him towards the pit of sadness and regret.

he got too occupied on giving his dose that he didn't mind his surroundings, that's what his gut told him and he didn't know why.

the heck will i do now? he asked himself while staring at his shaking hands.

it can happen any minute. after an amount of time, chanhee's career might go down, and he won't be able to forgive himself.

he looked at chanhee, worry filled in his eyes as he looked at him.

he fears that he might let go.

they haven't even shared anything yet, just these small chats and insult throwing they do almost everyday.

that counts, i guess.

he bought himself to accept it, he knows what will happen so he did.

"what's that?"

"a movie."

sunwoo blankly answered, eyes fixed on the television, trying to hide this mixed emotions that he couldn't push away.

chanhee weakly sat up, the thick blankets sliding off his shoulders. he looked at the younger at the other side of the couch where he sat.

this action was completely involunteer, but he did nothing to stop it.

he blinked as he most likely stared at the younger.

and his eyebrows furrowed at feeling something in his stomach. something weird, as if there were butterflies in it.

he layed back down after a few minutes, hugging the nearby pillow and fixing his eyes on the television.

"that's weird..." chanhee hummed, not looking at the younger.

"what is?" the younger answered right away, and he was looking at chanhee.

"nothing..." he simply shrugged, it sort of surprised him that sunwoo heard what he said even though it was merely a mumble.

silence.

"is the heater on?" chanhee asked to break the silence, sitting up again and facing the younger.

sunwoo did nothing but to shake his head, not sparing chanhee a glance.

"you feel cold?"

"kinda."

few seconds later and chanhee is questioning his words again.

he isn't his usual self and he doesnt know why, a part of him wanted to just laugh it off but the other oart if him wants to give away the blanket he was holding onto.

but its not bad to be nice for once right? chanhee is disgusted by that fact.

"what are you doing?" sunwoo faced the older, face heating up as his body gets surrounded by heat.

"scoot in here, it can't cover you."

"i'm just lazy to turn the heater on, i'm fine!"

sunwoo wasn't even moving an inch but he's inches apart from his face.

and chanhee regrets following his heart. he should've just stayed on the other side of the coucb and focused in the damn movie.

there they sat in silence, both if them not daring to move.

chanhee's eyes were one the television, yes, but his mind seems to be going somewhere he doesn't know.

too occupied to notice the younger handing out a packet of chips. he looks at him at disbelief, turns out he's being nice too.

"i did not poison it.." sunwoo simply said.

chanhee accepts the packet of chips, opens it, and pops in a chip on his mouth.

sunwoo was in the middle of crisis, he's trying hard not to fall for the older but something prevents him from doing so.

something about him is just so ethereal for the younger, having to breathe in the same air as perfection itself.

its like a dream, being this close to eachother, feeling the warmth and smelling the scent of strawberries on his hair. it may sound creepy when described but thats the way it is.

the world behind them dissapears, just them in a void with chattering at the distance.

his heartbeating against his ribcage, fearing that it might get loud enough for it to echo in this void.

choi chanhee.

his admiration has increased, badly.

nothing might convince him to stop falling for him.

because he accepts it.

he loves him so much but confessing might separate them, so he's decided to just take it slow, slowly becoming acquaintances.

bestfriends.

lovers.
