Who Do You Truly Love?

*Muse's POV*

"Mike has a son?" I heard Kellin say at the door. "I know." Vic said calling Xavier. Vic had calmed down for the most part now but I know he won't be okay later. "Cope can have a play date with him. It's all good." Katelynne smiled coming inside. I gave Katelynne and Kellin a small smile before checking to make sure Xavier had everything. "He'll let you know when he has to go to the bathroom he's good about that and he will pretty much eat anything." I said giving him a goodbye kiss. "I love you Bubs be good." I said quietly. "Love you too Momma." Xavier said back kissing my cheek as well. "Bye Daddy." He said hugging his leg. "I love you Xavier, best behavior okay?" Mike said picking him up. "Yeah yeah." Xavier said sticking his hand out. "You're to adorable." Mike said giving him a kiss making him giggle. "Love you." Xavier said before getting down and walking to Katelynne. "He doesn't have any allergies yet." I said and Katelynne smiled. "Okay, see you soon." She smiled giving me a hug. We all waved goodbye until Kellin's car was gone. "Let's go guys." I said slipping on my shoes. "You were stoned weren't you?" Vic asked and I nodded. "Yeah like an hour ago. Not anymore. I won't do it anymore if you don't want me too." I said quietly fixing Vic's shoelace since it was bugging me. "I don't mind. You don't always talk about it so I don't mind." Vic smiled. I smiled and we waited for Mike who was taking his time. "He's had such a shit day." I said quietly looking at Vic. "I really wish I knew what to say to him to make him feel better." Vic said leaning into me. "Sorry I'm ready." Mike said coming up to us. Vic drove to the hospital and the entire drive was silent. Vic was squeezing my hand so hard that his knuckles were white. When we arrived at the hospital Vic froze. "Vic?" I said gently. He squeezed my hand even more which I didn't even know was possible, I mean it didn't hurt but I was definitely losing circulation.

"It's okay Vic." I said looking back at Mike for help. "Vic, Ma needs you." Mike said placing his hand on Vic's shoulder. "Okay." Vic muttered finally letting go on my hand which was numb. I got out of the car quickly and met Vic at the end of it. Vic put his arm around my waist and Mike put his arm over my shoulders. Right now I had to be the glue that held them together but how am I supposed to do that when it comes to this? We walked into the hospital silently and we instantly found their Dad. Vic and Mike instantly hugged him. "What happened?" Mike asked. "She fell down the stairs and broke her hip." Their Dad said. "Where's Xavier?" He asked sounding disappointed that he wasn't here. "Kellin is watching him." I said quietly. "We brought her for support." Vic said quietly taking my hand. "You know Ma has been asking to see you." Papa Fuentes said to me. "Me?" I said just clarifying. "Yes, go see her." He said getting up to open the door to her room.

"Hey you." She smiled patting the bed next to her. "It's been a while." I said sitting next to her with a small smile. "How're you feeling?" I asked holding her hand. "Oh I'm fine, he's just over reacting. How're you doing my dear?" Mama Fuentes asked me. "I'm doing really good now, but I'm glad you're okay." I smiled. "Now someone tells me Vic finally asked you." Mama Fuentes said. Well she justs gets right to it.. "Yeah he did." I said blushing. "I know it looks bad because I was with Mike." I began. "It's fine hun, I just have one question." She smiled putting her other hand over mine. I raised my eyebrows and felt my cheeks redden. What kind of question did she have? "Who do you truly love?"

Once those words came from her mouth my head began spinning. All the moments that I've had with them replaying in my head. From when we first met in the woods, when Mike and I got high for the first time, when I kissed Vic at the cabin, when I had my first time with Mike, those car rides with Vic, the fights I had with Mike, those nights Vic held me as I cried, both of them helping me shop, Vic making me tacos, drunken dancing with Vic, the day I said goodbye to them, seeing Mike with Juliet, falling asleep with Vic and feeling as safe as I did when I fell asleep with Mike, Mike ignoring me, seeing Vic with Cara, walking in on Mike and Juliet and the first time with Vic. All of these memories replaying and making my feelings for them jumbled. Who did I love more, who truly had my heart.. "Is it wrong for me to say that I love them both?"
