Komaeda Nagito

"Komaedaaaa!" I heard a knock from my door. Is it Hinata-kun?

I opened the door, feeling excitement building up my body. And it got destroyed.

"Hey! Come it's our reunion party, remember?" Owari-san said. Along with her is Pekoyama.

"Really? Do you want a trash like me to be in a reunion?" I said as I hug my body.

They looked at me silly. "Komaeda, this is a class reunion. Let's go." Pekoyama said, continuing to walk away.

Maybe I should go. But what am I supposed to do?

...

"Thank you, Hinata-kun for coming with me to the reunion." I said happily.

"Yeah! I hope it's not going to be awkward since..." Hinata-kun said, sucking his teeth after.

"Heh yeah... But we can stay in the corner and make a safe space there." I said, holding his hands.

"Hey both of you." Twogami said, motioning us to come inside.

"Let's go, Hinata-kun." I said, closing my eyes and smiling at him.

He held my hand and smiled too.

Together, we walk inside the venue.

"Hinata. A word with you?" Twogami said, stopping Hinata from his tracks.

"Uh sure. We'll be quick, right?" He said.

Twogami nodded.

Hinata-kun gave me a reassuring smile. "I won't be too long." He said as he give me a kiss on the cheek.

"Alright. I'll be in a corner somewhere."

Hinata Hajime

"What is it, Twogami?" I asked.

"Let's not talk in the entrance." I agree because we're blocking it.

He and I went somewhere not that far from the entrance. Well since he's a bodyguard and all.

"I'm sorry if I'm not invited. Komaeda needs me by his side." I said.

"It doesn't matter if you're invited or not. You're welcome anyway." He said. He went closer to my ear and whispered. "It's that... Soda and Kuzuryu told me about you guys' bet. Aren't you taking your relationship too far, cheesy, and sweet?"

I stayed silent.

It's true.

"I've been working hard to convince him that I truly love him." I told Twogami.

"You mean 'truly' love him." He said, quoting the word.

"Listen. 50,000 yen is a huge money. If I lose, I'll be broke." I said in a whisper.

"I'm not liking this, Hinata. You know that Komaeda is actually really sensitive and fragile. He just knows how to hide it."

"I don't know if I love him or not, Twogami. It's like I'm catching feelings. Don't tell them."

"Just man up and tell them you don't want to do the bet anymore."

"I can't! My pride is too high." I said, sighing after. "Twogami... I think I like Komaeda. I just don't want to lose the bet."

"Then why the hell would you get in a gamble when you know you're going to lose."

"I didn't, okay? I didn't know I was going to lose..."

"Okay, here. I can cover for your expenses and you can pay me back by truly loving Komaeda and spending less on orange juice."

That's absurd! "Okay... Maybe at the end of the month. If I tell them, they'll tell me that I'm a chicken."

"Oh come on. Do you think that they're the type of person that would say that?"

"Yes!" I exclaimed.

"Whatever." Twogami rolled his eyes and looked away. "I support you, Hinata."

"OH uh... Thanks." That somehow put a smile on my face.

"Now hurry. Komaeda is waiting."

...

Komaeda Nagito

This seems like a nice corner.

I took a chair and sat down on it. I figure that I should get another chair for Hinata-kun.

I grabbed a chair and then someone grabbed it too. I looked up to see Nanami looking at me with her usual face expression.

"Komaeda. I need to talk to you." She said.

I put the chair down. "Sure." I agreed anyway despite having a bad feeling about this.

"It's about Hajime. He's using you." She said.

"Stop lying. I hate liars." I said as my eyebrows start to furrow.

"I'm not lying. If you go and listen to him and Twogami talking, then you'll know." She said, pointing at the entrance where they are.

"Are you seriously listening to people's private conversation?"

"Not private if they're doing it openly in the public."

"Please, Nanami. Don't ruin this for me. It just so happens that Hinata-kun has feelings for me and I have feelings for him. I'm sorry if you're thinking that I stole your man."

"I just don't want you to get hurt in the end, Komaeda. He's going to destroy you like stepping on a twig." She said. "Hinata-kun isn't that type of person. He wants an actual future. He wants a family and children who is his blood. And you can't even say his first name."

I walked away from her and went in the nearest room.
